    I keep seeing this response to multiple users about the search bar that does not go away: “ Thanks for the suggestion. Search bar automatically hides after around 30 seconds driving without navigation”. The bar does NOT go away after 30 seconds. It takes me 20 minutes to drive to work, and it will not go away.   2. Highlight 2 lane roads that have infrequent passing zones

    There are several spots between Victorville, CA, and SR-145 that are only two lanes, one each way. My suggestion is to highlight/identify the sections or roads that are no-pass zones. Roads like this, where there me several miles between passing lanes? Change the color to flashing read, or something. ;-)

    Almost every time I travel this way I have someone tailgating, wanting to pass me (and I'm already going over the posted limit), and sometimes they pass or try to pass in no-pass zones and I've seen several near misses.

  4. Setting for driver seat location and map display / layout

    In Navigation mode, depending on which side (Left/Right) the driver seat location is, display the driving Directions on the corresponding side of the screen.
    Note: also, using Android Auto Right seat location setting has no effect on Waze's display, the navi turn information
    card remaining on the left side.

  5. Better icons

    I would like better icons. When working on the WME map (as an editor), I just find the icons terribly bland. When looking at the Live Map for example, all shops look like red squares.

    Perhaps some scissors for personal care? An envelope for post offices. I just find for an app that has a multitude of custom little faces that you can be whilst driving, a little more focus on the Place Icons would definitely go a long way especially when a Funeral Home and the Post Office have the exact same symbol.

  8. Opção de deixar o celular bloqueado enquanto uso o waze

    Assim como outras pessoas sugeriram, venho aqui reforçar a importância dessa funcionalidade. Também já tive meu celular roubado enquanto usava o Waze e os bandidos acessaram tudo que podiam. Isso é uma questão de segurança, principalmente em São Paulo que esses roubos acontecem o tempo todo.
    Criem uma opção de manter apenas o Waze na tela e o celular ficar bloqueado, exigindo o Face ID/senha quando for acessar outro aplicativo.

  9. Screen space landscape

    The landscape view of the map has too many things on screen. The black navigation pane covers the speed limit and the speed camera alert also covers most of the screen. I am using larger font sizing as my eyes aren't great and the scaling makes this situation even worse.

    Can the screen space be arranged so items don't cover each other in landscape.

    Maybe a new set of icons/thin banner on the "side" instead of going along the whole "bottom" of the screen when in landscape.

    Also Samsung phone has polarised screen to help viewing in sunlight but with…

  11. Information bubbles are too big

    Hi, thanks for mantain Waze. Information bubbles seems to be too big and invasive for the size of the map and screen. My suggestion is to reduce and resume the info in the bubbles. Waze on Android Auto, standard size screen, Hyundai ioniq 2020.

  12. Get rid of new hamburger menu icon, put functionality back into search screen

    New hamburger menu icon doesn't need to be there. Takes up too much space for rarely used functionality. Put settings and stuff back into the search screen. The idea to move that into a totally new icon was bad.

    Want to add something useful to the map?

    Add a "favorites" icon where when it opens we can have one-tap reporting for report features I use the most- cops, roadkill, traffic - instead of digging around in the reporting screen.

    Also, should be able to EXIT waze by swiping from the right edge a couple times.

  14. Have the option to see my saved places as I see my home or work. It would be great to have an enable disable option in the configuration.

    Have a configuration to enable or disable your saved places been viewed n the map. So when you are driving you can see if any known/ saved place is near.

  16. Remove driving directions

    This is for the WEB version.
    I'm trying to view the traffic in my local area, but the Web version insists on occupying the top left corner of the screen, with no option to remove it!
    Why??

    Yes I may want to look at route options, but am much more likely to use the mobile version.
    Please can you put an [x] option in the Driving Direction box so I can see the entire area.

  17. The display of the vehicle speed and local speed limit cannot be turned off. settings toggle do not work.

    This may be a bug but the displayed speed limit and vehicle speed cannot be toggled turned off. It can be toggled off/on in the settings but the display continues to show on the screen.

  18. Add Building Outlines with Addresses on them

    I use Waze for rideshare, and it would be great to be able to zoom into the map and see the outline of buildings and the address on them. Google maps has this.

  20. "Bread Crumbs" feature

    A way to keep where we have been before displayed on the map like what Garmin has on their nav units. This is handy for instance when driving into large residential neighborhoods where everything looks the same
