Mark overtaking lanes on back roads / B road highways
On minor highways (in Australia at least) they are often one lane in either direction, with the occasional overtaking lane being two lanes in one direction, one in the other.
These can be 10km+ apart and aren’t signposted until they are close.
It would be nice to colour indicate these lanes on the map so the driver/passenger can see if it is worth waiting to overtake a vehicle in the single lane road or wait until the safer overtaking lane11 votesThanks for your feedback. Plan a drive carpool edition
My suggestion is to be able to plan a drive for multiple stops or carpool for the future. Right now, you can plan a drive in the future for one stop, but it would be great to do it for 2 stops.

Category Icons and Provider indicator in Search Autocomplete results
When we view Search autocomplete results, and even when we view "more" results
* Show category icons, so we can see the difference between a grocery store, a gas station, and a bus stop. This icon could be in the donut hole in the middle of the pin icon.
* Also indicate which are from Waze and which are from external providers (perhaps by putting a blue colored pin for Waze results and a gray colored pin for Google results, for exampleUse case:

Have an option to use HOV routes or not
I drive by myself most of the time that I use Waze. Many times two out of the three routes I get are in HOV route. It would be nice if I could opt out of HOV routes and actually have three routes to choose from.

add an option for Alternative fuel vehicles to be routed to HOV and HOT lanes since they are exempt
In the state of Georgia Alternative fuel vehicles are permanently exempt from HOV and HOT lane restrictions and as such they are a good option but waze has no way to know we electric folks are using HOV and HOT lane.

Buenos días, mi nombre es Javier GR, trabajo en un servicio EMS/SEM con una unidad UVI Móvil. Me gustaría transmitirles una idea para poder avisar a los conductores de que una ambulancia/camión de bomberos se les aproxima. Ésto nos ayudaría a bajar los tiempos de respuesta en una emergencia. Al igual que nos sería de mucha utilidad poder disponer de un mapa en una pantalla de nuestra zona de actuación con las actualizaciones del tráfico. this new one is too small and doesn't stay up on + or - very long. I have stare at the screen way too long to use it. kind of dangerous IMHO

Navigation
Hello,
Would it be possible that when navigating, the overview of the route with arrow and all traffic jams and speed cameras etc, this arrow moves dynamically and shows how far away the arrow is from the construction site, speed camera or traffic jam? This works very well with the Sygic app. I think that this feature would help many drivers to get a better overview. Thank you4 votesThanks for your feedback. Match multiple riders to unlock HOV for everyone
In the San Francisco Bay Area, and many other municipalities, HOV lanes require 3 or more people to use. If Waze Rider had a feature that let you request an HOV carpool only, and would enable multiple matches so that you could get 3 people in the car (driver + 2 riders), everyone would save 45 minutes of traffic. That would be a huge incentive to get people to use the app, meaning easier and more matches and fewer cars on the road.

To be able to navigate to an event on your calendar when using Android Auto
To be able to tap on the address on my calendar and have it connect to android auto to navigate right to that address. Rather than having to manually type it in on android auto

Olá!
Gostei muito da ideia de vocês, com relação ao "Waze Carpool", porém vejo uma situação da qual muitas mulheres ficam incomodadas pela falta de segurança e diversas vezes passo por lugares onde têm ponto de ônibus em que a mulher está sozinha e em alguns casos uma mulher e um ou mais homens, sendo que a mulher fica afastada com receio de algo com relação a este ou o grupo de homens.
Fui procurar outros aplicativos que trabalham com caronas e até encontrei outro já com disponibilidade de carona apenas com mulheres, tanto a motorista como as passageiras, então…2 votesChanging this to Not Planned, as it doesn't fit on our roadmap in the near future. Car-pooling feature
If waze is saying that it is real time it should be realtime, and not delayed by several minutes.
Car pooling feature should be added! To this there are several problems/issues.
i should be able ta preplan a route. Then hit go when i need it. I dont have the time to put in the different adresses every morning.
i should be able to navigation to a moving target. If im to pickup someone he May not be at his house. He may have walked to a place where it is easier for me to pick him up.

Ask for rating and feedback at the end of journeys like Google Maps does
After finishing each journey, there should be a prompt to rate the journey in the scale of sad faces or smiley faces like Google Maps does at the end of journeys.
Far too many times Waze re-routes to save a few minutes but takes you down through the tightest narrowest roads possible.
In London, UK roads can either be a breeze or they can be like driving through a maze with all the small tight roads meant for one way traffic but is actually used for two way traffic.
Then please implement the feedback and ratings to show routes where…
