Proximity routing for Home/Work
Many people use waze on a daily basis as a way to avoid traffic. We know how to get home or to work, and sometimes our work places have multiple entrances. These entrances don't always trigger waze that you have arrived, so even once I'm in the building, suddenly I hear waze trying to route me through the office hallways from my pocket.....
A new feature called "proximity routing" that the user can enable for their "home/work" locations would take care of this problem. Once the driver gets close, waze would indicate you have arrived and go into sleep mode.…

Automatic Favorites
If I deviate from my route and stop for any length of time, Waze should prompt me to add as a favorite place when I resume. For example if I stop at grocery store, car wash, gym or any other place on way home I'd like to have I my favorite places to add as stop on future trips. Likewise if I'm on a trip and stop at great place to eat, I might want to stop next time.

Passenger Train Tracking for Waze Users Riding Trains
Put railroad tracks on maps, and allow passengers on trains to see when it is estimated they will arrive at destination. I used Waze while on a train, and it was cool to see my speed, but it kept trying to mark my position on highways.

Avoiding Via
At first step, the purpose of this list (or menu) is:
Any user to create a list of roads, streets, etc. that will be avoided by them, either by holes (poor maintenance) or Unsafe (crime) preventing Waze of create routes for such via.In a second step, the policies and area managers (Waze) create risk zones with respect to crime.

Classificação de bairro no waze ( Perigoso ou Não)
Meu nome é Veronica de la Hoz, moro em SP - Brasil e estou muito triste com o ocorrido no RJ este final de semana e eu moro na Al. Júpiter 39, no Condominio Jd. Iolanda e um dia o waze me mandou para traz do condomínio que não tem saída e onde é perigoso é uma comunidade onde há desmanche.
A minha sugestão é nós mesmo classificar os bairros como perigoso ou não, ou classificação de perigoso,assim como classificamos com transito ou não.

Se o usuario passar do destino o Waze deveria dizer, passou do destino e mostrar rota voltando ao seu destino.
Se o usuario passar do destino, o Waze deveria dizer, passou do destino e mostrar rota novamente para voltar ao seu destino. Ao estar dirigindo se passa a numeração, só colocando novamente o endereço para saber chegar, pois uma quadra ou pista muda todo o acesso ao local.

Report menu redesign
Nowadays reporting menu is not fluent enough to use while driving, especially when reporting hazards, due to heavy use of text in the menus Latest update even made the font smaller...
I feel that hazard report menu should contain icons in the same matter the main menu uses them. Meaning: car, animal and anything else should have an icon describing. Thus, making the reporting duty during driving a hell of a lot easier. Same goes with the lane choice for the report (you can barely see those tiny arrows there).7 votes -
Clicking any "All Turns" list item zooms to location (upcoming in route)
During navigation, there is no short/simple way to look at a location point of your route ahead. Regardless, a simple and low click, logical solution would be to achieve looking at your upcoming route point for traffic purposes (or whatever reason) would be looking at your "All Turns" list (1 click) then one could scroll through all the upcoming turns, select a location (2nd click), and the screen then reverts to your map route, but targeted to view the turn selected on the "All Turns" list. Improve starting voice directions
When setting off from a parking lot I find wave does not give directions left or right when exiting the parking lot. A lot of times I'm left guessing, or having to study the map. It's almost like wave has no idea where it is!
Once you've made the turn its gets on track.

Truck map
Hi Waze. It would be a great idea if you could make maps for Trucks. Bridge height, bridge weight restrictions , length restrictions. Truck stops are not priority but would be nice to have. I use car play in my 40t truck with Waze but I use tom tom too, but I don’t Like TomTom. Sadly I have no choice but to use it 😂

Waze mode for public bus drivers

My name is Meital , and I’m a professional bus driver in Israel. I’d like to suggest a new feature that could greatly benefit both new and experienced drivers: a dedicated navigation mode for bus lines.
The idea is to create an option within Waze that allows drivers to select a specific public bus line (e.g., “Line 76 from Ashdod to Bat Yam”) and get step-by-step navigation based on the actual route and stops of that line. The system would include all scheduled stops, expected turns, and route-specific details.
