Poderia ser adicionado um recurso para forçar o programa a reconhecer que você mudou de uma via expressa pra uma local ou vice-versa (o gps nao percebe que você mudou, pois sao poucos metros que as separam). Por exemplo, nas Marginais às vezes o trânsito piora repentinamente e você percebe que é melhor mudar de via, embora o waze insista que você permaneça na via atual. E quando você muda, ele não consegue perceber que você mudou, e desta forma não recalcula a rota. Penso em um botão do tipo "mudei de via" e setas para a esquerda ou direita.…

Erase the path behind you.
When in a route, sometimes the path behind you get mixed with the path you are following. The path behind you should not be marked or it should be erased as you drive.

Snow removal equipment
I was in Maryland during the recent blizzard. I was able to make the return drive to Pittsburgh on Monday. The roads where clear, however road crews were doing snow removal on the shoulders, left and right. I found during my drive the crews were often on turns and had I had no warning to be able to change lanes for safe distance.
That's when I thought of a SNOW PLOW notification. It would include a left or right choice and on road or shoulder choice. Moving or stationary would be a choice too, but might be a bit much…

Reinstate function to See a list of reports near your location
In the current version we can no longer see a list of reports near your location. This was a very useful function to allow a user to decide if, when and where to go, without having to first plug in a navigating destination.

בהרבה מקרים אני בודקת כמה זמן ייקח לי להגיע ליעד מסוים, גם כשאני בדרך ליעד אחר. ואז נוצר מצב מבלבל שאני לא בטוחה אם הווייז מוביל אותי ליעד שאליו אמי רוצה למעשה להגיע או ליעד שבדקתי.
בקיצור, יהיה מאוד נוח אם יהיה חיווי קבוע על המסך מהו היעד, בין אם כתובת, או השם שהוגדר במועדפים ליעד. למשל, כשאני נוסעת לבית של חברים אני רוצה לראות, נוסעים לבית של צביקה וליאה, שזה השם שנתתי במועדפים לכתובת הזו.4 votes -
prevent fake police control alert by comparing standstill postion of the wazer and a police control
Some police agent use waze account to create fake alerts randomly or to say "control not here anymore" when they are doing control. These wazers can be identified by the system simply.
If a police agent uses waze, his location is tracked by the server. If a police agent is using waze while doing a control, his position will be standstill until a normal wazer spot him. So there will be an alert at the place the police control is located. The waze server can record these habits and conclude the user is a cop and limit his actions.4 votes -
Remove "Missing Overpass" map error report category.
That vast majority (all but maybe 1 or 2, in all the time I have been editing) of reports for "Missing Overpass" have been for overpasses that exist on the map, but are invisible at highway speeds on the app. Because some users do not understand how speed-based zoom works, that assume these overpasses are missing, and report every one they drive under until someone responds to a UR explaining why they don't see them. This is causing a large amount of unnecessary UR's and subsequent follow-up. In the US anyway, it would seem we could do completely without this…

Add Realtime Odometer/Points Counter
Add a realtime odometer/points counter as an extra feature in the app. This is to help avoid points not being added to scoreboard. Points recorded in counter should not clear until server updates scores.

Red tint on the side that traffic is slow
The red/yellow line is thin and gets obscured by the purple nav line.
In addition to the current line, I suggest a wider transparent line in red/yellow tint. The wider line should be drawn alongside the road, rather than exactly on it. The line should be on the side that the traffic is on.
In addition to the obscuring problem, the little moving flow arrows are hard to see when driving, while a broad tint clearly to the side of the road might be clearer.

Signalement 2 roues sur la route
Pour la sécurité des motards, il seraît bon de pouvoir s'identifier non pas en tant que voiture mais en tant que 2 roues, ainsi les automobilistes seraient avertis et nous serions mieux protéger

Pesquisa de endereço com a opção de colocar o número do local depois da seleção
Prezados, bom dia. Quando se faz a pesquisa de um determinado endereço e o waze lista os nomes de acordo com as iniciais do mesmo, não se tem a possibilidade de adicionar o número do endereço... gostaria de ter a opção de após a escolha do endereço o mesmo perguntar qual o número do local ou estabelecimento.

Colocar a opção de deixar os locais favoritos visíveis no mapa, como é feito com outros wazers.
Disponibilizar uma opção no menu de configurações, que possibilite a visualização dos locais guardados no favoritos, durante a navegação teremos a visualização dos pontos favoritos, nos aparelhos gps garmin, funciona assim e ajuda bastante.

While traveling or entering a navigation route, the user should be able to search for a Point of Interest (POI) such as "Starbucks" and save it as route POI. The app should display all "Starbucks" locations on the route with the option to add one or more POIs as a new stop. the POI will remain active until navigation is stopper or user reached destination

Add ability to report gas quality
Here in Brazil the fuel quality is very bad in some gas stations. sometimes we have problems with our engines because the gas was dirty. I would know and say this information to prevent damages and force the fuel companies improve the quality of the product.

Share route from web to app
Sharing a route from the waze web let's you send only a link to open in browser. Would be helpful to share a link that will open in your app.

"I'm in a parking garage" button to delay route recalculation and map out garages
An "I'm in a parking garage" button would allow you to:
1) Delay route recalculation until the car had actually started on the route (10 meters along actual street or so)
2) Map out existing parking garages for feedback to navigation
Because fiddling with your phone while driving is illegal in Austin, I prefer to set the route and be done with it before I start driving. Driving in circles around the garage means I typically have to do it afterward if I don't want recalculation to squelch my chosen route (non-toll vs toll for instance).

Make it so that I can just see a map with my entire route to work with traffic issues, police, etc shown.
Why should the default be turn by turn to work? That actually doesn't make sense. If I tap on work, I should see the complete map to see what traffic looks like, not some voice telling me how to navigate a drive I have done most days for 10 years. This is in fact so obvious that I can't believe that's not the way it is already. If you do that one thing, I will start using the app every day, and it will be wonderful. For now I guess I will keep using google maps every day.

Please bring the reports around me back!
There are many many clients who use Waze not for navigation but for looking what is happening around me. As this feature is now gone, I do not see any value of Waze...
