Flip or swap speed to other side of screen (for CarPlay) and/or make speed limit as big as actual speed.
Hi. Love Waze, but this idea is one of three that would take it from good to great for me...
Problem: For RH Drive vehicles, especially with CarPlay or where the phone is mounted to the left of the steering wheel, the speed limit (as opposed to actual speed) is too hard to read quickly while driving.
Some solutions:
1) A simple option to flip (or swap) the speed widget to the other side of the screen... and / or
2) An option that displays the speed limit the same size as the actual speed, perhaps partly tucked behind the actual speed (so that the speeds appear as a figure of eight on its side).Hi. Love Waze, but this idea is one of three that would take it from good to great for me...

Saved locations in the map
Would be great to have an option to display saved locations in the map...for example my favorite restaurants,shops or POI close to my current location....I love waze

weather and traffic on the same map. Inter-phase gps and weather radar. I am an avid boater and do it all the time.
Common occurrence on the water. Weather overlay on GPS. Route, traffic and weather on the same screen.

It is very important for motorists to have weather information integrated into the waze app, as it can prevent serious accidents.

Enhance Waze on CarPlay’s Instrument Display
Thank you for adding Waze to the instrument cluster on CarPlay - it’s a huge improvement! However, the current implementation could be refined for better usability.
• The resolution is too low, making the map appear overly zoomed in with limited visibility of the road ahead.
• Key details, such as potholes and hazards, are missing.
• A higher-resolution option with a more zoomed-out view would greatly improve navigation.
• Adding a 3D perspective or allowing users to customise the zoom level would make it even more useful.Having Waze on the cluster display is fantastic for quick glances, but right now, it doesn’t provide enough information beyond the immediate road. If you could refine this, it would make a huge difference. Thanks for considering!

Navigation
Hello,
Would it be possible that when navigating, the overview of the route with arrow and all traffic jams and speed cameras etc, this arrow moves dynamically and shows how far away the arrow is from the construction site, speed camera or traffic jam? This works very well with the Sygic app. I think that this feature would help many drivers to get a better overview. Thank you4 votesThanks for your feedback. Disable message "Thanks You helped nearby Wazers"
I am getting the message "Thanks You helped nearby Wazers" after reporting an issue and am then unable to see the information at the bottom of the screen (including ETA and distance) until I restart the app. This started happening to me a couple weeks ago. Based on previous suggestions (some from over 10 years ago), you are supposed to be able to go into Settings - Notifications and "turn off Thanks Message" but that's no longer an option. I have turned off all push notifications in the settings, and that does not work, either. The only solution I have found is to no longer report issues. Please reinstate a method for dismissing or disabling the message or just don't display it.

Emergency vehicle
Clicking/ reporting for an emergency vehicle should be for stopped emergency vehicles and accidents.
It drives me crazy when people are clicking emergency vehicle just because they are passing by which is NOT helpful. This is apparently unclear. Would you kindly make a post that populates with the next update to inform wazers not to click for non-stopped emergency vehicles?4 votes -

Option to type custom planned arrival time
Would it be possible to add an arrival time that is off of the quarter hour? As strange as it sounds, I would like to know my departure time for a 3:05 pm arrival - for example. The estimated travel time can revert to being based on the closest (or ceiling/floor) quarter hour's prediction. But it would be helpful to have the alert be based on my actual time to leave.

Voice reply
We can report things like crashes or stopped vehicles but we can't reply to the "still there?" prompt. Even having the ability to confirm with voice after we had passed whatever it was would be nice

Lexus
It would be nice if the next turn instruction can be synced to work with the Lexus heads up display. The OE navigation has the next turn displayed in the cluster and the heads up display but Waze only has it in the cluster. I wonder if Waze can also be synced with the HUD like the OE navigation.

Prior to freeway off ramp indicate if it will be a left or rignt at the end of the off ramp.
If prior to entering a freeway off ramp if Waze would indicate which off ramp lane you needed to be in it would better prepare you for the exit. Currently Waze will indicate if it is to be a left or right turn at the end of the off ramp but if you are in the wrong lane, you might not be able to get into the proper lane at that point.

Police avoidance
Like when a jam ahead is getting worse, Waze should tell you “police reported ahead. Do you want to divert? (2 more minutes)”. This should be toggleable in the settings just like speed alert is

Share route from car screen
Add a button on the car screen to share route with a pre-selected favorite contact.
I only share route with my wife, but I do this everyday. Currently I must start and share the route on my phone before Android Auto connects to the car wirelessly. A simple button to share to one contact using one app (eg: Whatsapp) would be very useful.
