Report Extended Events
There are construction areas (for example) which stretch some length (a mile or more). It would be great to report these as an extended region, not a single point, since they're usually accompanied by a lower speed limit. They might be activated by an upward gesture of the report button (as opposed to the sideways gesture that the iPhone currently supports for traffic reporting).

Improvement needed
I was checking out waze and I was really impressed... I felt like the waze experience was incomplete without a proper feedback. Hence I decided to give you guys a few suggestions on it: 1) Pls include downloading of maps of a certain area or preferably offline caching of Entire maps. 2) I noticed that initially the direction of the heading was wrong 4 out of 5 times, thus why not included an optional magnetic correction as it will definitely remove this error.

fade out old road traffic instead of not showing at all
at the moment I can only see recent traffic reports, but not those that were reported for example 20minutes ago.
It would be much more helpful if the client would always show the latest reported road traffic status.
the color could be faded out over time to indicate how old a report is.
the client should offer an option of the maximum age of reports that should be displayed and if a wazer reports that the road is free again, then the old report needs to be removed.4 votes -
report route change due to traffic
It happens a lot that the route is taking me to a heavy traffic road. I turn to avoid it, but can't report it. It would be great to have a pop-up when avoiding the suggested route to ask if it's due to traffic

Are you in traffic?
When the system asks if you are in traffic?? you can answer yes or no. For the amount of times that you have stopped for a coffee or gas and there is no traffic...instead of the system assuming you are and then saying that "First street" is at a standstill...make the automatic answer no, then if we are we can answer yes. I think this will reduce the fake high traffic areas people complain about

Add a grid on the background instead of the uniform grey colour.
This would increase the "sensation" of perspective and, if the grid is at fixed size (example 100x100 meters) would also help in understanding how much space there's before next turn/crossroad/stop....

Resolve GPRS/EDGE connectivity issue
Wifi works great, but when I am on road or trying to connect via GPRS, Waze rarely connects. On the web and on the Waze forums itself this issues is litterred numerous times, with various people discovering different ways which made it work for them. None of them, unfortunately worked for me. This means that on road, I have no Waze connectivity for updates. Bad. This should be a critical issue to be put on top priority.

Remember Events filter
I would like the client to remember the setting I select for filtering Events. "Around Me", "On Route" and "My Groups" are great filters, but when I return to the map/driving view, I want my Events count at the top to be filtered and when I tap on it/select it, I want my Events report list to still be filtered by the same criteria.

Road trip mode: track progress since activation, share milestones
For longer, multi-stage trips, a more robust kind of logging might be useful. This "road trip" mode would keep track of the distance traveled since activation, and post a message on Twitter, Facebook, etc. when a milestone has been passed (e.g., passing a predetermined amount of miles or crossing a state/provincial/national boundary).

Request: Enable Audible Alerts for All Speed Cameras regardless of speed
Hi all,
There’s strong agreement across the Victorian Waze community that we need audible alerts for every speed camera, regardless of current speed.
At the moment, Waze only plays a sound if you’re already speeding. Otherwise, it’s a silent visual popup — and this creates real safety issues:
Motorcycle riders cannot safely look at their phones, and a silent popup is easily missed with wind, traffic, and other sensory load.
Car drivers can miss the popup too, especially in busy driving environments.
If a driver unintentionally speeds up within 500 m of a camera, Waze gives no warning at all,…

Add feature to mark Flock
Get free publicity and raise your stock price ! Post new feature to mark flock cameras and release to press media! When some more Epstein Files are about to get released they might push this to top of the new channel instead of releasing the list to create controversy and distraction and Waze will get so much free publicity and more users will now use Waze. Addition of a "Probationary License

Serait-il possible d'ajouter une option dans les paramètres de navigation permettant de sélectionner un profil 'Jeune Permis / Permis Probatoire' ?
Une fois activée, l'application ajusterait automatiquement l'affichage des limitations de vitesse et les alertes sonores selon la législation en vigueur. Par exemple, en France, les seuils passeraient de 130 à 110 km/h, de 110 à 100 km/h et de 90 à 80 km/h.
L'idéal serait que cette option soit adaptative : les seuils de réduction de vitesse devraient s'ajuster automatiquement en fonction de la réglementation spécifique de chaque pays (par exemple, des limitations différentes en France, en Italie…

Road closures
To have the option to post road closures in either direction. For example if heading north bound and see a road closure southbound or if stationary to be able to post road closures, instead of only having option to post about road closures depending on what the gps says what direction it thinks I’m traveling

En lima Perú no se puede ni leer ni escribir en las alertas señores ... El año pasado paso lo mismo y duro 7 días , pero está vez va más tiempo , hice el reporte y la respuesta fue que lo desactivaron que escriba acá a ver si en la próxima actualización lo resuelven ..... La gente está descargando APK con versiones antiguas de sitios de dudosa procedencia para poder escribir y leer las alertas .... Señores por favor esto se necesita urgentemente

Make the "Complex Intersection" feature to be set at node
Make the "Complex Intersection" feature to be set at node, not a each segment aproaching the "Complex intersection"
This would make the app less cluttered, as only one alert will be needed instead of several, as of now, one alert for every segment approching the interserction.

Lane-specific pothole alerts (show which lane the pothole is in)
A feature that allows users to report what lane a pothole (or other hazard) is in so that drivers can avoid hazards, vehicle damage, or bottlenecks in traffic that can happen as new vehicles approach the hazard and attempt to minimize impact.
