Indication of danger zones even without navigation
Is it possible to receive notifications of danger zones even when using Waze without navigation?
Living in France, we have danger zones, not speed cameras.
The problem is that the danger zone notifications only exist when using navigation with Waze, and if no one reports a speed camera, we don't receive any notifications!1 vote -
Best route for large vehicles
Hi and good morning. I am a firefighter in the UK and I use was to help me fine an address via the postcode given to us by our call handlers (control). Waze gives us the best route when driving a car NOT a fire engine. Will there be an update so that bigger vehicles can find that fast and easy route?

Travel Guide AI
Hello I was wondering if you can add a travel feature that users can toggle on for an Ai Tour guide assistant providing encyclopedia knowledge and interesting facts about places that you drive by. This idea came to me when using Waze in a road trip this week. I saw places on the side of the road that I wish I could know more about. I found myself asking Siri but Siri is limited as it needs to search the web for details and will wait until the care is in a parked position. My idea would allow the user to continue to drive. As the AI provides fun facts or a history of the places.
The AI can ask the driver if they are interested in hearing about points of interest that are popular.“Road Trip” mode.

Unable to Submit Reports When Toast Messages (e.g. Tollbooth, Speed Bump) Appear
I’ve noticed an issue when trying to submit a report while driving near certain map elements such as tollbooths or speed bumps. When the short “toast” messages like “Tollbooth ahead” or “Speed bump” appear, they overlap the Submit button on the report screen. This makes the button temporarily inaccessible, preventing me from submitting the report until the toast message disappears.
It would be great if the UI could adjust to prevent this overlap — for example, by repositioning the toast message or allowing the report submission button to remain accessible at all times.

Dobrý den, bylo by možné upravit, aby šlo při vyhledávání adresy přes CarPlay kliknout na konkrétní adresu při našeptávání adresy? Nyní musím napsat celou adresu a až poté kliknout na hledat. Dále bych byl rád kdyby šlo vybrat bod v mapě jako cíl cesty, nyní musím znát konkrétní adresu což je občas problém obzvlášť v cizině. Mám nejnovější iOS a tím i nový vzhled CarPlay.
Hello, would it be possible to edit it so that when searching for an address via CarPlay, you can click on a specific address when prompted for the address? Now I have to write the entire address and only then click search. I would also like to be able to select a point on the map as the destination, now I have to know the specific address, which is sometimes a problem, especially abroad. I have the latest iOS and therefore the new look of CarPlay.

Voice activated Reports and AI
I am surprised that after so many years Waze is lacking on basics.
1. Please get up to speed with AI and voice activation to enable drivers to makes reports using their voice - AI can then automatically classify the report in the right category.Come on folks. This is basic stuff and very important for the safety of drivers. It doesn’t need to have votes for features that are COMMON SENSE!

More control for emergency workers and traffic management
I'm a press photographer in the Netherlands and I see a lot of incidents for my work. By adding some tools, workers on the road can easily report problems and even instructions. For an example: When an accident happens there is sometimes a lot of debris on the road, even though some lanes are still open it's possible that there is debris on those lanes. By adding information, drivers can better adapt to the situations. Adding a tool to give traffic management the option to give information can improve the safety of the people who need to take care of the incident. It can also help if they can report regulating traffic by hand signals or you have to look out yourself. These things can improve the safety of emergency workers on the scene and prevent accidents. It would also be helpfull if you get a notification in traffic jams towards an accident to stay alert for emergency vehicles and motorcyclists and give them space to pass. I think a warning for people who speed near road works need to get a notification too. It can also prevent accidents if people get notifications for abrupt braking, a notification for about a minute can prevent accidents. In the end all temporary road closures should be easy to add for police and traffic management, it prevents a lot of work because there will be less people driving up to the closure and blocking traffic. I hope these ideas can help this great app.

Opt-out alerts options are not working
My locating city has somebody tricking the app by reporting numerous roadworks in every single 10 metres on some main local streets, but actually they are not existing. I have opted out for receiving alerts of roadworks, but the app is still keeping on showing me roadworks. It is apparently a glitch here and please follow my choose not to show the roadworks in the navigation.

Reverse the latest software change
The last software update Waze did now removes the map and alerts capability whenever I am connected to my car. It didn't do that prior to a couple of weeks ago. Very unsatisfied with being forced to audio directions by arrow only. It is causing me to reconsider using Waze and switching to an alternate driving app. I have been a Waze customer for years.

Add automatically scheduled stops to route that survives rerouting
I would like to navigate somewhere and tell Waze to plan rest stops periodically (1 hour, 90 minutes, whatever), and for waze to figure out where to stop.
If Waze reroutes because of traffic conditions it should figure out the new stops.

Waze levels
I think the rules to rise in waze ranks ,should be written to evolve at the levels, and the rise to the warrior level should be facilitated. What are the requirements to level up anyway? It is not written anywhere. Thanks

Alternative routes when roads are cloased because of flooding
I think that waze should add the option to show alternative routes when there´s flooding ahead in my way

Hi Ella and colleagues, I have a waze suggestion. Please ask the Waze engineer to please add an option in the Settings of the App for the end-user: please let me explain first. Waze no longer is asking for re-routing permission - Waze now just dynamically (automatically) re-routes now in the middle of navigating. And I understand why, this is because to minimize distraction. Please ask the Waze developer-engineer to please add an option inside the SETTINGS of the APP to allow the end-user to either: ALLOW automatic (dynamic) re-routing or ALERT user prior to dynamic (automatic) re-routing or to NEVER re-route the end-user during active nav. Many end-users feel they do not want to be auto-rerouted, and on the other hand many end-users do want to be dynamically (auto) rerouted during active nav, and some other end-users want to be ASKED (or alerted first)when a better route is found BEFORE dynamically being re-routed. PLEASE, forward this message to the waze engineer to add a SETTING for this in the SETTINGS of the APP and you will make all 3 types of end-users HAPPY just with this SETTING for RE-ROUTING: ALLOW AUTO REROUTE, ALERT FIRST, or NONE.Please forward this message to the engineer to add this SETTING in the Settings of the App. I am VERY grateful to you, Roman.

podrían eliminar el mensaje de "Información sobre el coche" de la pantalla principal? estorba ver el velocímetro y eso es mas importante.
por favor, actualizar la app, es muy buena, pero hace un tiempo apareció el mensaje de "información de coche" en una etiqueta azul, la misma aparece encima del velocímetro e impide lograr ver el velocímetro y si se esta por encima de los limites de velocidad establecidos. creo de mas relevancia, utilidad e importancia lograr ver los limites de velocidad que la información del coche.

NUEVAS FUNCIONES ESENCIALES WAZE
1 - poder elegir varias rutas para llegar al destino (como en google maps)
2 - poder modificar la ruta (como en google maps)
3 - poder hacer distintas paradas en una misma ruta.
