Radar notifications on smartwatcheS
Olá equipe do Waze,
- Melhora a experiência geral do usuário
Atenciosamente,

Add a short blurb to apple carplay navigation when an exit is being changed from what is expected, like due to accident, due to construction
Add a short blurb to apple carplay navigation when an exit is being changed from what is expected, like due to accident, due to construction, due to congestion, due to time savings, etc… today I was on a trip and I knew the exit to get off of, but I also knew the exit was under construction Waze told me to get off one exit earlier, but with no reason as to why if I did not know that was under construction I probably would’ve bypassed what Waze was advising and then found out the hard way.

Zone scolaire

Why are bumps, potholes, or maintenance sites not automatically added when more than 15 vehicles repeatedly stop or become slower at the same point in the roads?

When I click on police icons on map, the popup stating time reported should be larger so I can easily see it on my phone. It’s so tiny now.

Véhicule arrêté
Bonjour
Map issue
I would like to report that there is a problem in my map view, the name of the street I am on is displayed in the bottom of the map, right where I should see the navigation icon, and it is making difficult to navigate, I tried to desactivate this in the configuration but I did not found this setting. It would be best if the street name be displayed in the top of the map.

Get rid of the extra go nails on Android Auto. I feel like I'm going to have an accident when I have to keep pushing these go now buttons. I
While I'm driving, after entering directions, I have to hit go now, sometimes even a second go now prompt comes up. It is distracting me from driving. I clicked on the directions. I want to go there. Why the extra go nows? It's dangerous while driving.

Request for Browser-Based Chat on Waze Live Map
Hello Waze Team,
Currently, Waze’s chat-based information sharing is limited to the app, so I think it would be very useful if the same kind of communication could also be done from the browser version of Waze Live Map.
For example, if users could click on a specific location on Live Map and use a chat function to send messages to app users around that area, it would make it much easier to share local information in a simple and timely way.
In normal situations, it would be helpful if people could use a computer to post local updates such as “There is a special sale happening here” or “A festival is taking place in this area.” This would make it easier to share useful community information with people nearby.
In addition, during disasters or emergencies, I hope this function could also be used to share more specific local information, such as shortages of supplies, places where support is needed, or the situation at evacuation shelters. If people could send messages from a computer to app users in the affected area, it would not only help deliver important information more quickly, but could also give reassurance to people there by showing that information is being shared and that others are paying attention to the situation.
In this way, if chat functionality were also available on the browser version of Waze Live Map, I believe it could become a more useful and practical feature in many situations, from sharing local community information in everyday life to supporting communication and coordination during disasters.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could consider adding this feature in the future.
Thank you very much.

For police cameras alerts
This is very important, since it occured many times. You have to give option in police camera alerts, to choose at which distance to announce alert. Sometimes it announces very near to the police camera. Give options for example 2km, 1km, 500m etc. so drivers can choose. Also give another option to choose, in same area if settings, that will alert or not, on each specified distance (2km, 1km, 500m etc). Give another option to give continuous alert for speed cameras (instead of alerting on each of above distances), with intervals every 1second, 2 seconds......5 seconds. Also give option to choose any sound for the alert. To choose a volume for the alert from Settings, so in case of low volume, alert will not be lost.
In this way users can choose:
1) The distance that notification will start for police cameras (2km, 1km, 500m etc.)
2) Whether they want to be notified or not, in every of the above distance (2km, 1km, 500m, etc)
3) Whether they want to be notified or not, in specified intervals (1second, 2 seconds) until they reach the camera.
4) To choose any sound alert for camera.
5) To choose a volume for the alert from Settings, so in case of low volume, alert will not be lost. In this case the new feature, must override system volume. This is very important, since it occured many times. Car play ETA details override during upcoming Speed Camera Alerts
Hello Waze Team,
I would like to suggest an improvement to the Apple CarPlay experience when approaching speed cameras.
Currently, when a speed camera alert appears, it temporarily replaces or hides important navigation details such as the estimated time of arrival (ETA), remaining distance, and trip duration. This can make it difficult to stay aware of key trip information while driving.
I recommend maintaining the visibility of ETA, remaining distance, and travel time even during speed camera alerts, or displaying the alert in a way that does not override these essential details.
This improvement would enhance usability and allow drivers to stay informed without compromising safety.
Thank you for your continued efforts in improving the Waze experience.
Best regards,A Waze user

Princess Donut and AI voices from Dungeon Crawler Carl
Would Love to have the voices for navigation of Princess Donut and AI from Dungeon Crawler Carl!
A third option would be Carl from Dungeon Crawler Carl.I would also love the option to pay to keep a certain voice so it never goes away.

Problem with the display on the projection display.
Greetings. I use the app on my smartphone and in the Volvo XC60 2025 Plug-in Hybrid car that has Android installed. When using Google maps, all the necessary information is displayed correctly on the central, driver, and head-up displays. When using the Waze app, the information is displayed correctly on the central and driver's displays, and only the empty space is displayed on the head-up. Such a small joint, but it does not allow you to fully use the application, which in many cases exceeds Google maps. How can this shortcoming be addressed? Thank you. Good luck. Oleg K.

"Closed Road" in quick access
(not sure of the english term in Waze App)
One of my UR mentionned the idea to have a quick access at "Closed Road" without having to search in menu.
Most of time, users are using "Incorrect route" or "General error" instead of "Closed Road"

Please put speed indicator location option in settings. Top left is hidden behind other head unit overlay when on Motorcycle.
Please put an option in settings for speed indicator location top left, top right, bottom right etc. When using CarPlay on my motorcycle the speed indicator is hidden behind the headunit menu overlay on the left.

Thank you for creating such a wonderful navigation app!
I’ve been using Waze for quite a long time, and I truly appreciate the quality of your map service. It’s very user-friendly, thoughtful, and considerate, especially with its strong focus on driver safety. Even speed bumps are clearly alerted, which is impressive.
There are a few improvements we hope you could consider to make Waze even more widely used, helping more people travel safely and conveniently:
The Waze icon may feel cheerful, but it should also look more professional and clearly represent a navigation or map app. The current icon feels a bit too childish and doesn’t seem related to maps or directions at first glance.
Please consider working with Apple to enable navigation directions to be displayed on the car’s HUD when connected via CarPlay.
A satellite view mode would be very useful, as it provides a more realistic and familiar perspective.
Please add voice alerts such as “You are exceeding the speed limit” or “Please slow down” for speeding warnings. Simple alert sounds may not be noticeable enough, and drivers could unintentionally exceed the speed limit and face heavy fines.
We look forward to seeing these improvements in the near future.
Thank you again!
