geotagged photo's
Add a function to take geotagged photo's and show them on the map. This way you can take a picture of a street sign, and later enter the street name in cartouche without having to look it up on another map

Loading Status
I find that usually waze appears to load quite quickly, but will then freeze intermittently and loosing GPS lock whilst actually finishing 'loading' (Contacting server etc). It would be good it some form of message or progress bar could be shown so that it is obvious that it is still loading and not actually frozen

Android Auto
Antes o Waze funcionava muito bem, mas recentemente ficou com bug: está muito devagar e travando bastante na hora de mostrar a rota quando uso no Android Auto. Isso vem acontecendo há alguns meses.

Allow Waze users to correct sightings of "mobile police cameras" when it fact the devices are "license plate readers".
My town has many "license plate readers" that allow police to locate stolen cars or to respond to Amber and Silver alerts. Too many people report them as "mobile police cameras". These devices are not "mobile" and they are not intended to monitor speed. They are intended to locate bad actors. In fact, Waze should not identify these plate readers because they might help bad actors escape detection.

Waze is falling short for Motorcyclists and people who like to plan ahead! especially .gpx files
Waze is falling short for Motorcyclists and people who like to plan ahead!
Hi there,I've been riding on my motorcycle with Waze enabled for traffic information for a while now. I think I speak for every motorcyclist in the world when I say, that we don't like to stand still with a warm engine between our legs. Needless to say, we like to keep moving. Waze is great at navigating around traffic and keeping you up-to-date of where there are hazards. Because motorcyclists are more vulnerable than cars, I might even say it's more important for motorcyclists than for cars.
Waze added a feature for motorcyclists a few years back, however I don't see any change in navigation or routing. Waze keeps navigating me via boring long straight highways/express ways/motorways. Which might be great for getting from A to B in a quick way. But driving a motorcycle isn't always about going from A to B quickly. Most of the time you want to take scenic routes or implement fun stretches of road in your route. Hence why I've been using a different app for Navigation on my phone (Calimoto) and had Waze active in the background to give audible notifications of anything noteworthy.
But in all fairness, I would rather have one app for both functionalities. Especially some functionalities would also translate rather well to regular use with cars. So I would like to list some things that are in my opinion essential to having a good GPS app for motorcyclists.
Importing routes from .gpx files. (Alot of fun rides get shared amongst other motorcyclists via forums etc.)
Using a computer to plan ahead. (The browser doesn't allow the placement of waypoints)
Bendy road algorithm. (An algorithm that identifies good roads for motorcyclists, I urge you to open the Calimoto Trip Planner and search for Heiligenblut in Austria, another great example is north-west of Marbella in Spain.)A noteworthy thought I want to share with a developer who might bring this to a meeting one day hopefully.
Having more motorcyclists using Waze for navigation in backroads also provides more data of areas rarely travelled because of them being backroads. Data which can be used to further enhance the service Waze offers for all it's users.I didn't exactly know where to post this, hence why I've posted it in General Questions. Feel free to repost this message if you're a motorcyclist aswell and resonate with this sentiment. I hope the Waze developers read this and at least respond to my ideas.

Save preferred routes
I’d love the ability to save my preferred route to frequently visited destinations (such as work, home, or family). Waze often suggests the fastest route, but sometimes I prefer a slightly longer route because it’s easier to drive, has fewer traffic lights, avoids difficult junctions, or is simply more familiar.
It would be great to have a “Preferred Route” option where users can save one or more favourite routes for a destination.

Have Red Light Camera(s) Take Over Traffic Lights
I've seen several users complaining about red light camera(s) not being mapped at many intersections, even though it is mapped (but can only be one-way direction (capturing rear license plates)), it's the traffic lights that are defeating the visibility of the red light camera. I believe users are more used to seeing red light camera(s) displayed on the map, whether it alerts or not when approaching one (like it was before the traffic light rollout), because it also has a traffic light icon inside the camera, making it recognizable as a TL intersection.
This is NOT intended to mislead anyone (even senior editors). It's about some things that users were more used to when glancing at the screen to see where it's located (even if it doesn't alert them for rear license plates), but Waze should continue to say "At/After the light" if turning.

Subject: Feature Request – Vehicle Garage with Individual Preferences
Hello Waze Team,
I would like to suggest a feature that I believe would make Waze even more useful for people who drive multiple vehicles.
Feature idea: Vehicle Garage
Please consider adding a Vehicle Garage where users can save between 3 and 5 vehicles to their Waze account. Each vehicle would have its own saved driving preferences and settings.
For example:
One vehicle has a motorway vignette, while another does not.
One vehicle may have different road permissions or restrictions.
Different vehicles may require different routing preferences.
Before starting a trip, the user would simply select the vehicle they are driving, and Waze would automatically load the saved settings for that vehicle. This would eliminate the need to manually change preferences every time the user switches vehicles.
I believe a limit of 3–5 vehicles per account would be sufficient for most users. Many households own multiple cars, motorcycles, or other vehicles, and some family members also share the same Waze account. This feature would improve convenience, save time, and help prevent navigation errors caused by incorrect vehicle settings.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this suggestion. I hope you find it valuable, and I appreciate all the work your team puts into making Waze better.
Kind regards,
