Exit lanes
In heavy traffic, it is extremely helpful to know how many lanes are available for a left or right "peel-off" to merge with a different highway. Sometimes I don't even try to get across multiple lanes, thinking I need to be all the way in the far left lane, only to discover within the last mile that I have three lanes available to peel to the left, but now not enough time to get even to the closest one.

Love the new Voice Reporting! Can you please put a shortcut for it directly on the map for quick reporting?
Also put it on the left side. Most cars have big screens and putting it towards the left side would make it safer.

Optional Audible Speed Limit, Speed Camera & Mobile Camera Warnings
I’d like Waze to add more user-selectable audible warning options so drivers don’t need to keep looking at the screen to check their speed or upcoming enforcement locations.
Ideally, under Alerts & Reports / Speedometer, users could independently enable:
• Audible overspeed warning — play a sound when the driver exceeds the current road speed limit, with the option to repeat periodically while still over the limit.
• Audible warning for all fixed speed cameras — regardless of whether the driver is currently above or below the speed limit.
• Stronger/different warning when approaching a camera while above the speed limit.
• Audible warning for reported mobile speed cameras / police enforcement locations.
The overspeed warning would be particularly useful when driving on unfamiliar roads or where speed limits change frequently. Rather than repeatedly looking at the phone or CarPlay display to confirm the current limit and vehicle speed, Waze could provide an audible notification when the limit is exceeded.
These should all be optional settings so users can choose the level of alerts they prefer.|
Suggested options:
• Audible warning when exceeding speed limit — On/Off
• Repeat overspeed warning while still above limit — On/Off
• Alert audibly for all fixed speed cameras — On/Off
• Extra warning when approaching camera above speed limit — On/Off
• Alert audibly for reported mobile cameras — On/OffThis would make Waze much more useful hands-free and reduce the need to keep checking the display while driving.

Android Auto on non-touch navi
Using non-touch navigation on my 2023 Mazda 3, I use a rotary button to select buttons. When scrolling all the way to the end for the report button, it would be very helpful for the selection to remain at that button, instead of resetting to the first on the list (which currently is Cancel drive).

Fix needed for scroll wheel controls
This used to work … When an alert card pops up on CarPlay, scrolling past the notification trap-locks the focus layer. The rotary knob control highlights the top bar or side menus and cannot scroll backward to select the 'Still there' or 'Not there' button.

When you tap on the icon to look at alternative routes it is broken in recent versions.
In recent versions on iOS when one tapped the icon to see alternative routes it no longer uses the entire left side of the screen. It's a little tiny section at the top left and you have to reach over and scroll up and down which is not only distracting, which makes it dangerous, but it's a real royal pain in the neck to actually use. Whoever decided this was a good idea should find something else to do other than UI development.

When you select "motorbike" you can't choose another icon
Hi there.
If someone chooses "Private" then he can change the icon of the car.
If someone chooses "motorbike" or "taxi" the icon is fixed.Maybe it would be a good idea to change the default icon and select of of the "car's" icons

Eliminate 0.6 mile voice prompt for imperial users.
A 0.6 mile voice prompt was added, with the likely intention of providing a 1 KM prompt for metric users. However, for imperial users, this adds a seventh prompt, only 0.1 miles from the 1/2 mile prompt, which is the appropriate and normal progression for alerts. To provide appropriate notifications, the 0.6 mile prompt should be eliminated for imperial users, and the 1/2 mile prompt would be eliminated from metric users. Spitballing, the prompts should be as follows:
Imperial: 1 mile, 1/2 mile, 1/4 mile, 0.1 mile, at the location.

Je vous contacte au sujet du routage proposé par Waze dans la rue [nom de la rue], à [ville].
Nous constatons depuis quelque temps un afflux très important de véhicules dans cette rue résidentielle, notamment parce que Waze semble y orienter une partie du trafic afin d'éviter les axes principaux.
Cette situation est devenue particulièrement problématique pour les riverains : augmentation du trafic, nuisances sonores, difficultés de circulation et de stationnement, ainsi qu'un enjeu réel de sécurité pour les piétons, les enfants et les cyclistes.
La rue n'est manifestement pas dimensionnée pour absorber un tel volume de circulation. Nous souhaitons donc attirer votre attention sur les conséquences concrètes que peut avoir le routage algorithmique lorsqu'il concentre massivement le trafic sur une voie résidentielle.
Une pétition a d'ailleurs été lancée par les riverains afin de demander que des mesures soient prises face à cette situation. Elle témoigne de la mobilisation locale sur ce sujet :

Nous vous demandons par conséquent de bien vouloir réexaminer le routage proposé par Waze dans cette rue et de prendre en compte son caractère résidentiel ainsi que les nuisances et les enjeux de sécurité liés à l'afflux actuel de véhicules.
Nous vous serions également reconnaissants de nous indiquer s'il existe une procédure permettant aux riverains ou à la commune de signaler officiellement qu'une voie n'est pas adaptée à un volume important de trafic et de demander son exclusion, lorsque cela est justifié, des itinéraires de délestage proposés par Waze.
Nous sommes bien entendu disponibles pour vous transmettre toute information complémentaire utile : localisation précise, photos, éléments concernant le trafic constaté, échanges avec la mairie ou autres documents permettant de mieux comprendre la situation.

Please reinstall the old Masterchief's voice.
My drives used to be fun listening to Master Chief and his quirky comments. It made my journey less stressful and I found myself verbally replying to him! Now, his voice is oh so BORING! It sends me to sleep nearly and involving Cortana on his dialog? No. It's not working for me. I might as well listen to BBC Radio 4!!!
Please bring back the old voice, telling me to strap in and we might have a few bumps along the way! That always made me giggle!1 vote -

destination. Waze pourrait surveiller uniquement la portion de route parcourue et déclencher l'alerte
lorsqu'un cycliste actif se trouve à proximité sur cette même route.
Exemple : « ■■ Cycliste à 250 m — route sinueuse. » Puis « Cycliste à 100 m ». Après le passage,
l'alerte disparaît.

La fonctionnalité devrait fonctionner uniquement avec le consentement explicite du cycliste. La position
pourrait être utilisée temporairement pour générer l'alerte, sans afficher l'identité du cycliste. Des

PLEASE NO VENUE ICONS ON MAP
The power of Waze is that it is clean looking and very practical for observing traffic! If I wanted to have a map full of shops and other venues I would use Google Maps.. Or if you are very keen on making this the "new look" for Waze maps - please make it a feature that can be turned off in the settings! For example, right now the map is displaying only one certain venue (that is quite expensive to visit so this is obviously a paid promotion so we might as well call them ads).

List of previous destinations retracts
When I start entering a search term, a slide up shows previous results. But, it slides down automatically. I don't have enough time to look at the lists and make a selection. Allow this list to stay up!! Also, I would prioritize those places I have stored into the alphabetic sorted list. (An alternative would be sorted by those places I last visited)
