Voice reporting popup
It's fine to have voice reporting as a feature for people who want it or are required by law, but I do not want my device to listen to me constantly. Yet Waze keeps giving me a nearly Fullscreen popup asking to enable it that never goes away unless you hit the 'later' button.
Please make this popup only temporary and add an option to make it permanently go away!

Won’t get rid of Apple Maps because of this issue
I love Waze but the one issue that keeps me from just fully deleting Apple Maps is the inability to search for a location while my phone is Connected to Apple CarPlay and be able to see on the map where the location is. It only gives options by the distance from me. I moved to a big new city and also travel a lot for work and it’s frustrating to not be able to see in which direction say for instance a gas station is from me. Same goes for adding a stop, cant tell if the location is 4 miles in the opposite direction or along the way.

Add a “Crazy Taxi” sidekick voice (like the announcer voice)
I’m surprised nobody else thought of this yet (or if they did it’s too far down, mb 😂) I was thinking it could sound a little like this:
Route start: Hey hey hey, it's time to make some crazy money! Are you ready? Here we go!”
The turns: “Do a crazy drift left/right!”
U turn: “Do a crazy tailspin!”
I thought this would be a cool sidekick to add 😂

Add ons
Add satellite view, have road names shown as your driving like Google maps has. Have a flat leveled view, no off center view, makes no sense. Then I'll use it.

Sometimes the Pothole button isn't enough. In West Virginia, there are sections of road that I can't hit the Pothole button fast enough.

Distinguish E85 vs E15 gas station offerings
Summary: Propose addition of E15 fuel, alongside E85 fuel, and additional labelling or coloring to help users differentiate them, in order to prevent confusion and engine damage.
Background:
Waze now allows E85 (AKA FlexFuel, AKA yellow-pump) as a gas preference/filter, however, E15 (AKA 88 octane, 85% gasoline-15% ethanol, blue-pump) is not currently available as a preference/filter.
Unfortunately, since E15 is 85% gasoline, users are erroneously reporting gasoline prices for E15 in the field for E85.
This is confusing at best, harmful at worst. Users whose vehicles are compatible with E15 fuel may become accustomed to seeing "E85" representing E15. When they travel to an unfamiliar area, they may continue using the E85 filter to look for E15 fuel, without realizing that in some areas, E85 truly means the yellow-pump "FlexFuel". Their vehicles may be compatible with the blue-pump E15 fuel, but not the yellow-pump E85.
As a result of the missing E15 filter, it is possible that they erroneously fill their tank with E85 fuel, resulting in engine damage.
This is of increasing importance as gas prices have increased drastically, and E15 and E85 are both cheaper options that users may seek out, putting them at risk for making an expensive mistake which may ultimately also generate bad publicity for Waze.
Proposals:
Add selectable E15 entry field for gas stations, as well as addition of E15 to the list of preferred fuel types and filters.
Label E15 as "E15 (88 octane)" or "E15 (Regular 88)", and rename E85 as "E85 (FlexFuel)"
Add a borders, background color, or text color to differentiate these fields across the board. E15 can be blue, E85 can be yellow.
Consider adding a warning when a user selects E85 or E15 as a preferred fuel type or filter.

Difficult to respond to questions about route while driving
When an enroute question pops up, e.g."Is the lane still closed?", I have to navigate to the popup then select yes/no. In my Android Auto the default focus is on the close route icon. I had to devote too much attention to move the focus to the popup and then choose yes or no, so gave up trying to help. If there's a popup the UI focus should automatically switch to it, so all you have to do is choose yes or no. Several times I accidentally closed the route, and had to reenter it, because the focus defaults to that icon.

doesn't project the map from my Samsung A16 to the car screen
It needs to project from my Samsung A16 phone to the car map screen through Bluetooth Android. Google map does this easily but Waze doesn't work with my Toyota Corolla 2021 map screen.

Request for iPhone Automations and a Do Not Disturb Mode for Waze
Dear Waze Support Team,
I’d like to bring to your attention what I consider to be an important missing feature in the Waze app: the ability to set up automations for Waze on the iPhone.
The app consumes a relatively large amount of battery power even when running in the background. Therefore, it would be great if Waze would finally provide better control over background operations.
Users should be able to decide for themselves whether Waze is allowed to remain active in the background or not. Alternatively, a built-in sleep mode that automatically activates as soon as the connection to Apple CarPlay is disconnected would be helpful.
This would allow Waze to reduce background activity and battery consumption without having to manually close the app every time. I would appreciate it if you could include this feature in a future version. Flexible control over background activity would significantly improve the user experience and reduce battery consumption.

Hi, my name is Lukasz. I have been working for Royal Mail in the UK for the past 13 years, driving 6 days a week, and I am a very active user who regularly updates road reports and fuel prices on Waze.I have a strong suggestion regarding the recent layout update. Previously, clicking the yellow reporting button opened a quick half-menu where the Fuel Prices (gas station) icon was immediately accessible at the top corner. This was perfect and safe for professional drivers.With the new update, the gas station icon is hidden, and I am forced to swipe twice to open the full-screen menu to find it. This double-clicking is highly inconvenient and dangerous while driving a commercial van. Quite often, by the time the full menu opens, the GPS moves my van past the geofencing zone, and Waze cuts off the reporting option completely. This makes honest reporting very difficult when passing multiple stations at roundabouts or dual carriageways.Could you please consider moving the Fuel Prices icon back to the very top row of the quick menu? This would fix the issue and allow drivers to report accurately and safely with just a single click. Thank you for your time and for making Waze better.Best regards,Lukasz

Ios 27 broke the night mode
I use Waze on my iPhone with the map appearance set to Automatic (day/night mode).
In CarPlay, I have the maps set to Night Mode, so the map normally appears dark gray.
After updating to iOS 27, I noticed that when the iPhone connects to the car and Waze is displayed on the CarPlay dashboard, the map initially appears in Day Mode, even though it should be in Night Mode.
If I switch to another app and then switch back to Waze, the map changes to the correct dark/night mode.
Interestingly, this issue only occurs during the daytime. In the evening, when night mode is normally active, Waze works correctly.
This did not happen on iOS 26.I use Waze on my iPhone with the map appearance set to Automatic (day/night mode).

Display total road kilometers added/modified in WME profiles
I would like to suggest a new feature for the Waze Map Editor (WME): displaying the total number of kilometers for roads added and modified by editors.
Currently, our editor profiles show the count of segments we touch, but it would be extremely helpful and motivating to see the actual distance (in kilometers or miles, depending on the region) of the road network we contribute to.
Why this would be useful:
1. Better Impact Visibility: It gives a more tangible representation of the work done, especially for major alignment projects or rural mapping.
2. Community Motivation: Seeing the actual length of roads edited or created adds a rewarding gamification layer for active editors.
3. Advanced Stats: It provides better qualitative insights for Area Managers and Country Managers tracking large infrastructure updates.I would like to suggest a new feature for the Waze Map Editor (WME): displaying the total number of kilometers for roads added and modified by editors.

As of now, this can be done in voice alerts but it includes many more type of alerts. It would be nice to get audio/voice alert option only for radar (ie both speed&red light) specifically.
