Not an idea but no other category worked
Waze sends you to the wrong location when you type in 901 E State Highway 114, Grapevine, TX, 76051. 901 is the address of Park Place Lexus in Grapevine. The location it sends you to is the Cedar Ridge Office Park at 950 E State Highway 114, Southlake, TX, 76092, about 5 miles further west. In trying to figure out why, I noticed that both Redfin and Zillow mistakenly list Cedar Ridge OP as being at 901. Google has the address correct. My service advisor at Lexus said that the customers who have ended up at the wrong address have all said they used Waze.

Neighborhood mode
It would be nice to be able to set a radius around your home location to mute voice directions. Users already know how to get out of their neighborhood so voice instructions are not needed. The radius could be adjusted based on the user’s knowledge of their neighborhood.

Cardinal directions on the map!
Cardinal directions on the map! GPS often can't tell which way you're facing immediately so you can't tell which way wazs is telling you to take your first tirn, causing you to need to guess which way to take said first turn, ESPECIALLY when there are no road signs to tell you which road waze is talking about, and when Murphy's law kicks in and you take the wrong first turn you end up cussing at waze and doing a pointless uturn that could have been avoided of waze was clear about which way it thinks is right/left on xyz street. Adding cardinal directions to the map would solve that easily, especially considering most cars now show which cardinal direction you are facing in the rearview mirror.

volledige afsluiting doorgeven
Op Android auto, kan ik geen complete wegafsluiting meer doorgeven, enkel een afgesloten rijstrook (linker/rechter/middelse). Hierdoor blijft de navigatie je over een afgesloten rijbaan sturen. Het onderscheid in een rijbaan en rijstrook zou fijn zijn, zodat de route automatisch aangepast wordt door afsluiting.

I do have a few somethings else ….
1)I need the directions to reference something I see out the window. I don’t care if the locals call it “Webster-Basin-Springs RD” …. what’s on the road sign is State 333 off of US 60 South west of Irvington, **. You’ll need google maps/apple maps to find this reference. Waze only shows the name which cannot be seen on the road.
Waze CONSTANTLY uses a reference which is NOT on the roadway signs.
2) Nuther complaint: “where to” tap doesn’t persist when moving. So I get penalized with needing more attention to the app while driving than “just a glance.” Let it persist like it does when I’m not moving.
3) I expect this probably involves some sort of payment, but finding destinations is hardly easy. So what I have to do is use the apple or google map to search for fuel stations I want to use and then copy the address, enter it into a non-persistent ‘goto’ field.
4) need to restore the ability to easily update the speed limit. Used to be “tap the speedometer” to open a correction … now unable to correct as far as I know.
5) It has “opt out” of a toll road. It also needs to be aware of the vehicle … are we able to “turn around” on a narrow residential street with driveways the only alternative to BACKING onto a highway … or are we a truck/trailer combination which needs a roadway? motorcycle, sports car, sedan, SUV/Truck, Truck-Trailer.
6) perhaps ability to easily update the max speed for accurate ETA. On this last trip (towing an RV) … I didn’t run the 75 mph speed limit.
7) Finally … how about a selectable chime only for when approaching a turn (with selectable lead time) in the computed direction or add a chime for an alert? Waze reads-off 5 different roadway names, so I mute the sound.
I use Waze for speed limits, roadway condition alerts, traffic, police, etc. It’s been superior there, but it needs to be refined by someone who wears glasses when they used to have “x-ray vision" and has seen more than 3 POTUS election cycles … as a registered voter. when I zoom in to read a street name, the letters need to enlarge.
appreciate your work … I just returned from a 900 plus mile one way drive. Got a lot of work with this app, and these shortcomings were evident repeatedly.

Swipe up on android interferes with navigation
Android and waze both have swipe up functions. As soon as you touch the bottom of the waze app information on a drive fills the screen. Even if all you wanted to do was switch apps. Therefore navigation pauses until resumed. I'm sure the app was never this sensitive in the past. It's not very intuitive.

Change route colour
You recently changed the colour of speed cameras on display from green to blue, and if you use the dark mode, like I have always done, the route colour is also blue, and therefore the speed cameras are barely visible! This is total nonsense! Please allow to change the colour of the speed cameras or the route.

Allow users to disable the floating signs with the names of the streets because they interfere with navigation.

Check in after navigation
It would be great if the app asked if it got you there correctly and if there were any difficulties in the suggested route. Things like closed roads, detours or difficult turns are hard to report.

The business address for Waypoint Pediatric Therapies in Issaquah, WA is incorrect. The correct address is 22525 SE 64th Place, Suite 160, Issaquah WA 98027 (as shown on google)

App shouldn't close simply because I turn off the screen
This not an idea, it's a complaint.
I enter a route and it maps out.
Seconds after I turn off the screen, the app CLOSES.
This issue started last week.
I seriously do not need the screen on the entire drive. What happened?1 vote -
Android Auto - Arrange Display based on left or right hand drive and Icon Size and Speed
To save the person stretching to the other side of the screen to click an icon. If you have to stretch to reach it may impact your driving direction, and how long you need to look at the screen for.
For me the Reporting something panel appears on the non-driver side.
Adapt the screen so that icons you click on are always on the drivers side.
When half screen mode, you can not report anything anyway, so consider also making, bigger icons and going through two panels may also be better.
The screen should also indicate the location has been record, so people do not need to rush to complete the report. i.e. give people 20 seconds per panel. Indicate if a icon leads to another menu.

Screen orientation lock + bigger buttons in motorcycle mode!
Need Waze to add a screen orientation lock option in the map settings. This has been suggested for years in the community feedback chat, and has been ignored. It is now a safety issue when riding a motorcycle. Because of my bike's design, I can only mount the phone horizontally. Even when activating auto-rotate in my phone's settings, Waze will switch to vertical after tilting or when the screen goes off. Trying to use and see the map vertically while riding is dangerous, distracting, and wildly irritating when I hit the wrong button. I have nearly gotten into an accident before trying to reroute while on the move. Please add a screen orientation lock function for Waze. This will allow for safe riding.
In addition, if you're feeling generous, please add a feature to the existing motorcycle mode that makes buttons bigger, with less hidden menus. As you may know, riders wear gloves on the move - it is difficult to select the correct function given the touch sensitivity to gloves. That's an Android/manufacturer thing, but Waze can certainly help by making buttons bigger and bringing certain route options directly to the map. I would be so appreciative if you took these requests seriously and not just as basic suggestions. Again, this about motorcycle rider safety. And suggestions have been sitting there untouched.
