Auto timeout on suggestions and recentre
So 2 issues found this week when using Waze on a motorbike
1. I got a route change suggestion 10 minutes into my journey, which needed a yes or no button pressing to action. This is really difficult on a bike as you often have a weather cover on the phone so to action I'd have to stop, remove gloves and phone, press it and then carry on. Why doesn't this have a timeout or a tick box in setting to automatically accept route updates?
2. The map was inadvertantly moved when I put the phone in its case and I needed to press recentre to get it back on the route. Again I would have had to stop to do this, so the timeout to auto recentre should be a minute or something. Same in a car really as touching a phone is illegal.
Annoying thing is you can't see the route, speed limits etc when it does this, just get the audio to advise. Hope this can be reviewed

Overview Improvement
When you selected route overview it shows, delays, police, hazards and collisions in four different bubbles at the top of the screen (blue-police, red-delays for example). It would be great if you select each of those bubbles individually and it shows in the according color and selected interested bubble such as incidents on the overview map and where they are located, also the ability to select one or whichever you want to see. Also once you see them you can select one and it zoomed into the location.

Neural voices
I would suggest to implement Neural2 and/or Polyglot type voices that are available in Google Cloud TTS in the Waze app, keeping the current ones for when - for instance - you don't have internet connection.

Avoir le choix de refuser une proposition d’itinéraire
Lorsque l’on choisit un itinéraire différent du plus rapide (et coûteux) pour avoir le meilleur compromis waze modifie sans cesse l’itinéraire pour revenir à celui le plus rapide (et coûteux)
Il serait bien que le bouton avec juste OK affiche un choix refuser pour garder l’itinéraire choisi.
Ou bien créer un choix d’itinéraire meilleur compromis délai coût avec % d’écart acceptable1 vote -

When using Waze on an Ipad Air 4th gen (or other devices) in splitscreen with another app like Spotify the map doesn’t center itself with the new screen size. It stays oriented to the right and you can barely see the car, would be great if it could adapt to the new screen size while multitasking!

Directions issues
I was recently in Cleveland, Ohio for three weeks. I have used And Favored Waze Is my primary choice for navigating to locations. However, in the recent Usage, it has directed me to route and changing once I started establishing on that route multiple times. One case it advises me to turn right at the next intersection After making the turn, it advised me to make a U-turn and backtrack to where I was in a different direction. The situation is bad enough, but when it’s happening in the middle of the night, it becomes dangerous. At that point of time I finally decided to stop using the application and use Google maps

Voice countdown to speed cameras (like radarbot)
It would be a massive benefit to have a countdown to speed cameras and the associated speed limit to be sounded very 50m or so when approaching any camera on route.
See Radarbot. Very useful but would be great in Waze.

Waze takes up too much space in CarPlay split screen mode
Waze takes up too much unnecessary space on the right side of the screen when using CarPlay split screen, to the point where you cannot see the music title anymore. This only happens when there is a lane indicator (see link below). Google and Apple Maps don’t have this issue. This should be adjusted so your music title is not hidden when the lane indicator is active.

Bonjour,
À la suite des récents comités ministériels, la zone administrative de surveillance « Nice », comprenant la Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, est désormais classée en « Territoire de Vigilance ». Aussi, au 1er janvier 2024 ce sont les restrictions ZFE 2023 qui s’appliquent pour une durée indéterminée (voir arrêté modificatif du 19 février 2024).
A ce jour, l’application Android Waze, indique un risque d’amende pour une destination dans le périmètre de la ZFE, pour un VL ou VUL vignette Crit’Air 4.
Or il s’agit d’une erreur, les véhicules Crit’Air 0, 1, 2, 3 et 4 sont autorisés à circuler dans la ZFE au 01 janvier 2024. (seuls les véhicules Crit’Air 5 et non classés sont interdits et donc soumis à une amende)
Pourriez-vous tenir compte de cette information et mettre à jour l’application Waze.

Alert for wrong way drivers on highways
Last night two drivers were killed by a wrong way driver On I93 north of Boston. I wonder if an alert on Waze that alert to a wrong way driver coming at you could have saved these lives. You need to ask yourself if this was your family would the cost to program be too much
