Original Waze voice search command
For many times google has tried and tried to shovel up my *** the google assistant voice search command which is completly useless but somehow I managed to revert back to the best ever voice search command function in the history of voice commands. Since a couple of days I cannot revert even though I have all the assistants turned off Google Bixby Gemini and whatever else is there.

Suggerisco di implementare su Waze una modalità di visualizzazione della mappa simile alla "panoramica" presente su Google Maps quando utilizzato con Android Auto. Questa funzione permette di vedere l’intero percorso con uno zoom automatico che si adatta durante la guida, facilitando la visualizzazione anticipata di rallentamenti, code o problemi lungo il tragitto.
Sarebbe molto utile soprattutto per i percorsi abituali, dove non è necessario un dettaglio 3D delle svolte ma serve una visione d’insieme per poter decidere tempestivamente eventuali deviazioni.
Questa aggiunta migliorerebbe molto l’esperienza di navigazione su Waze, rendendola più efficace e sicura.1 vote -

Display actual GPS speed and not car’s info
When connected to CarPlay the speed on the supposedly gps speed in Waze always shows a 1km/h difference compared to that on the speedometer (at least in my case)
When NOT connected to CarPlay the difference is larger. At 90 km/h on the speedometer the speed in Waze is 85 km/h and at 140 the speed on Waze is 130. (Actual GPS speed)
When connecting to CarPlay a message says that the phone will use selected data from the car and this includes the car’s speed. However, this value is not accurate.

Improvement
I’m a regular Waze user and I really appreciate how the app helps me plan my drives. However, I’ve noticed there’s no option to fine-tune the arrival time in smaller increments—like adding an extra 5 or 10 minutes to account for parking or walking time after I arrive at my destination.
It would be incredibly helpful if a future update could include more flexible arrival time settings. This would let users plan for those little extra minutes we need after parking, ensuring we truly arrive on time.

Shade
In honor of hot car month
Is there a feature to select parking lots with shade at this time? If not can one be generated by user feedback and AI rendering of public parking maps? It would be best to show which parts of the lots have shade. Along with marking multi lot parking garages that have shade and multi level building parking. Buildings that offer shade and based on the angle of sun to predict if the user will have a good percentage of shade during their park.1 vote -

Manual mode - route option for manual cars
The app already has an option to avoid hazardous / complicated intersections. My suggestion is a manual route mode that avoids large hills or road hazards that may be more difficult given a manual transmission.

Add option to search either for nearby options OR for options on route
When you're making a trip and realize you're low on gas, it's nice to add a stop at a nearby gas station. However, waze just lists stations on your route (or only stations nearby when using android auto for some reason). The user should have control over whether the search is for nearby options, or options on-route.

Specific reporting should not be exclusive to voice reports
I and many others refuse to use voice assistants. I personally find it much more distracting/focus breaking. It's a personal choice.
If some people wish for simpler ux, that is fine, however the option to coherently and fully report animals, a vehicle stopped on the ROAD, etc etc, must be available to all users. If there is a dormant "enable classic reports" switch, please enable it, alongside map chat and comments, which is at this point unusable anyways. The feature is (was) especially useful for the shotgun passenger.

Add option to alert to "Opposite Side" police reports
In most areas, even police with bumper-mounted radar heads can measure speed in different directions and differentiate between targets, and many departments (most, these days) equip front and rear emittors which work simultaneously. Unless this feature is exclusively to be used for situations where the threat is on the other side of a concrete barrier where there is no nearby onramp or turnaround, it makes no sense not to at least have the option to enable such alerts.

Add option to disable "pan backwards to reveal upcoming turns"
Waze pans the camera backwards to reveal upcoming turns and path, which I find annoying and disorienting. It just needs a simple on/off switch so people can opt out.
