Add a mechanism (button or gestuer) that would take an immediate screen shot and overlay it with the current speed and coordinates
If being pulled over by a cop the user could push the button and get a map with the overlayed speed, the average speed for the last ~10 seconds, date and time and the gps coordinates. This information could be used to convince the cop or the court you weren't speeding.

gas price bug
I submitted the bug ages ago. i get a response that someone is looking into and was duplicated. I turn off the "suggest gas price" feature for it to always turn back on after I relaunch the app. I would submit another bug report but it seems to fall onto def ears

Bring back alternative routes to main page
Hi, can the team revisit the Ul/UX by bringing back the alternative route as a main icon on the main pop up screen? It's very hard for user to click the right icon > list > only to find the alternative routes.
Additionally, vice versa to go back to main navigation map. Thanks.1 vote -

Trip actual duration
Show trip actual duration from beginning of current drive, so you have not only a time count down until arrival but also show how long you have been driving (time count up. some cars have such a built-in transit time, but many do not). This is not a summary at the end of the trip but an active on-going timer

Trip Overview Split Screen Option
A split-screen option for the existing drive and trip overview?
For example: Left side will have the usual Waze UI, report, street name, directions, distance to turns etc... On the right side, we have the overall view of the trip.
The through process for this is that, I like to see to overall distance covered so I know how much more I have to go, while it is an option to poke "Overview" it takes the attention away from the driving which I find potentially dangerous.... Carplay user here, but I think it can be integrated into both systems.

With recent update, line spacing for "recent" is increased, requiring more scrolling. Please fix the spacing or give users option to choose.

iPad splitsscreen
In split screen on iPad there have been problems for a long time.
The interface keeps flickering at the bottom and when entering a new ride you can't see departures until you change the window size.
Had hoped this would be solved a long time ago.
Both on ios 18 ans on ios 26 public beta the problem is still present

Freeze frame when a report is being created
User driving down X street, and sees a hazard on parallel z street, but have passed it by the time they found the option so now it no longer shows causing an inaccuracy.
I suggest when you hit the report button, the map holds your place temporarily in that moment to give you a little more time to mark it before you get too far away1 vote -
Shortcut to frequently reported items
When you press report, you are presented with 3-5 of your most common or a general most common types of reports. “Construction” “road closed” “traffic” and or ” accident “
Finding some of these things in the menus takes too long in ordinary road conditions and takes my eyes off the road too long to comfortably call certain thing out unless I’m bumper to bumper1 vote -
Barra laterale avvisi android auto
Salve.
È possibile implementare una barra laterale (lato dx) su android auto (magari disabilitabile per chi non la voglia) che mostra gli avvisi lungo il percorso live tramite le loro icone una sopra all'altra con il più vicino avviso posizionato più in alto? Magari raggruppando gli avvisi nel raggio dei successivi 20 km dal punto in cui ci si trova altrimenti non consentirebbe di contenerli tutti se fossero tanti. Una barra che si aggiorna lungo l'itinerario e che ad esempio contenga macchina ferma bordo strada, allagamento, autovelox mobile, fisso ecc...

Fluidez na interface
Por favor. Permitam que coloquemos o aviso de aproximação dos radares na parte superior junto com a faixa preta que indica as ruas. Eu piloto olhando para aquela legenda no canto superior e quando tem radar tenho que descer os olhos até o fim da tela para ver a distância em metros dos radares e isso incomoda muito!!! E ainda tira muito a atenção da via. Pra quem pilota moto isso está ruim demais. Arrumem isso, permita que escolhemos onde irá mostrar.

Android Split Screen Broken
After a recent Waze or Android update, when using Android's built-in split screen feature to display both Waze and another app at the same time, Waze's UI is very broken. The lower half of the screen is completely unreadable, and trying to interact with it is quite glitchy. Please look into qa'ing Android with split screen more thoroughly.
