  2. I want a button to be added to the app to switch between 3D and 2D

I would like to see a button added to the map screen to quickly switch from 3D to 2D and from 2D to 3D.

  3. Apple Calendar Integration for Smart Navigation Suggestions

I would like to request an integration between Waze and Apple’s native Calendar app. If I have events scheduled with associated locations, Waze should be able to access this information and proactively suggest navigation — similar to how it currently suggests driving to “Home” or “Work”.

In Apple CarPlay, there is already a one-tap button to start navigation to Home or Work without opening any menu. This same functionality could be extended to also suggest navigation to the location of the current or upcoming calendar event.

This automation would significantly enhance the user experience and allow Waze to better integrate…

  4. Treat roundabouts as a single movable node when selecting the entire roundabout, to allow for easier adjustment and alignment.

It might be helpful if roundabouts in the WME could be treated more like area zones—something that can be selected and moved as a whole. As far as I know, the only way to move a roundabout is by either deleting and redrawing it, or carefully shifting each segment one by one—which can be time-consuming and often risks distorting the roundabout's shape. If there were a way to move the entire roundabout while keeping its structure intact, it could make editing a bit easier and more efficient. Just a thought that might be worth considering.

    While I don't personally see…

  5. Add possibility to suggest bumps for users

I suggest adding the possibility to suggest "dangers" like obnoxiously tall road bumps or sudden turn in tight roads on the map like it is for speed limits.

  6. Add icon for roadworks with traffic-light controlled one-way

Add a new kind of roadworks notification (like the same icon as the one currently used for roadworks but with a little traffic light) for those that have a traffic to make the road one-way.

It'd be great to know in advance to avoid a road where there are multiple of these.

  7. Highlight or add areas that have GPS traces without a Waze segment

To identify natively within WME to access areas where the GPS points clearly identify that the road is now constructed and ready for use but Waze doesn't have a segment at this location.

WME/Waze could highlight this to us on the WME feed or as a separate sheets file or any other method where GPS traces are present but no segment under?

This will be the highest confidence that the road exists in real life and editors can focus on it.

GPS Traces are not supported currently by the WME SDK also so we can't script our way through identifying…

  8. User defined low speed input for better accuracy in journey time.

Not all vehicles can travel at the posted speed limit. Some are limited by type or load. It would be cool if Waze could accommodate this and give an accurate ETA based on the planned speed of the vehicle, rather than the posted limit. For example, the maximum legal speed limit for any vehicle towing a trailer is 80 km/h on all roads in Ireland. Similar restrictions apply to HGV's. A reduced speed field at the start of a route plan would be great for all those drivers.

  9. place destination counter for the last 30 days

Selecting a Waze place could show the amount of route requests in the last 30 days that had the exact Waze place as a destination.

This would be quite informative and could give us editors an insight on how demanded an entry is.

  10. Save changes as a draft

The "save as draft" button keeps the changes made but not yet saved, so that they can be resumed at a later time or continued on another device.

  13. Display state instead of country when zoomed out

If a country uses states then when between zoom levels 5/6 to 10 it should say the state name rather than country name. Once you are zoomed out past level 5 or 6 then it should start saying the country name.

E.g. More useful to know I am looking at Queensland instead of Australia at this zoom level

  14. Allow un-checking Segments layer to be persistent

When using Street Vector Layer I turn off the Segments layer but each time a hard refresh is required (which is far too often) the Segments layer is re-activated by default. Please allow the setting for the Segments layer to be persistent.

  17. Differentiate road name and road number

Many roads around the world have different names in addition to the name, such as the road number, whether federal or state. However, currently, this numbering is "hidden" in the alternative street name. In other words, the driver may even know that he is on a highway, for example, by the drawing, but he does not know which one if it has a name.
With this, in the Waze Map Editor, in the edition of the roads, the option of adding the street name or number, if it has one, could be added. Thus, Waze would show both the street…

  18. Editor Profile daily edit count displayed date

On the editor profile page (https://www.waze.com/user/editor/username), the daily edit count pill boxes advance at midnight GMT. The date displayed on mouseover shows the date relative to local time. This means after 1600 my time (-8), it will show today's date for edits in the previous 24 hours. At midnight local, the dates all switch and show the "correct" date until 1600 again.

  19. Create or Save and edit drive route and daily commute

    Hi

It would be great if we can create and alter our own drive route. While it is great that Waze does suggest the best route at the time, there might be more alternate routes that do not appear on the list. If we could be able to create and edit out own route, we avoid a certain toll road, but go on another. or choose a certain toll entry point over another that could save us a couple of dollars every trip.

Or if Waze could use and save our already travelled daily commutes? that would make it easier…

  20. New health safety information in places

After the pandemic of COVID-19, some information such as air-conditioned or Wi-Fi became less relevant when choosing a restaurant, for example. It would be interesting for editors and users to be able to add information related to health safety measures, such as:

1.Need for reservations: Some restaurants require that the consumer has already made the reservation before.
    2. Space for the elderly: Some places separate a place for the elderly, reducing the risk of contamination.
3.Contactless payment: The location features payment via NFC or other contactless methods.
    4. Masks required: Despite obligation always, it is a good incentive and even…
