  2. Different route choices...

    I live in Phoenix and try to avoid I-17 it is a terrible highway narrow and heavy traffic and lots of accidents. It seems like waze always sends me to I-17 whenever going north and south. I started using google maps it gives me choices. Is there a way to get choices on Waze?

  3. I495 on long island

    When driving to Long Island, waze insists on traveling on I495. There are so many parkways without trucks on Long Island that you can make better time, yet every time I travel to Long Island it heads towards 495. Today I headed up Northern Parkway,, which waze was heading to eventually, in 8 fun filled miles of sitting. I got off when I saw a sign to Northern Parkway, 4 miles earlier, and took 3 minutes off of my time. I love waze, but Long Island driving is not waze driving. It stears you towards the interstate!

  4. Mark for "No Trucks Allowed"

    In Buckeye, Arizona there is a law prohibiting semi traffic in residential areas. With interstate construction it's creating backups and people are looking for routes around it. It's all well and good till a semi tries to drive through our golf community on a road that the city extended a couple of years ago to give residents easier access to Verrado Way. The semi's hit the reflectors marking the cart path crossings. They hit the curbs that weren't designed for truck dimensions.   5. Control point / guard house on road

    I would like to recommend Waze add a map editing / issue feature for a road control checkpoint. A checkpoint is a common element of various roads around the world and would be important for Waze to add the ability to indicate it.

    I drive a Honda Civic 2018, with CarPlay, but I can't report incidents in Waze when Im driving with the CarPlay.

  11. Make new editors complete a quiz on the wiki before they can edit.

    After being locked out from editing after a bad user last year and only regaining editing permissions early this year, I was thinking you could create a compulsory quiz that new editors have to complete before they can edit the map. This would help prevent rogue users that don't understand what their actions do to the maps and creating a better editing experience for everyone.

    I was accessing the app to see if there was a timeline history on my account as I was trying to see the routes I have been following to compare with other applications and see which ones provide the best routes.
    Recently I experienced some long routes in waze that could have been avoided.

  16. Make lanes for highways so we know which lane we are supposed to be in

    Update the map by making heavy detail in highways and making the map 3D. Like apple maps how they did it. Also, let us put how long construction on roads should last, or how long you would be in traffic for. I also would like you guys to add how to get inside water parks, like Soak City at Knotts berry farm in california. Thank you.

  17. Remove Search Disable At Zoom Levels Less Than 12

    It's annoying with the recent implementation of disabling the search bar at zoom levels less than 12 (1 - 11). In places where I'm trying to find a particular location because a city name is repeatedly multiple times in the state I end up having to zoom out to see major roads and match the map up with the DOT reports for mapping closures. Once the zoom level is less than 12 the search feature is disabled so I have to zoom back in just so I can search for the next item on the list.

    Filtering own comments/reports/issues Sometimes I mark some issue with the purpose of editing it. But I'm not always able to find it again.

  20. Bicycle Paths

    Hi there Waze team, community,
    In the view of raising pollution from vehicles and health concerns due to sedentary lifestyle, I think it would be a great idea for Waze to it's bit by marking out biking (bicycle) lanes just like it is so easy to drive around with waze in a car.
    This will help people to get around quickly, safely and conveniently. Today in most part of the developed and developing world, bicycles are not given or considered a priority. And in some places it's half hearted efforts for example some central & western European countries where you…
