  1. Allow easier editing of new addresses with homes facing the "wrong way"

    Our development is a cul-de-sac with addresses that won't save in the map editor because the homes are all side-facing. This makes it difficult to share the address with guests if they aren't able to navigate there. Please allow all editors the ability to add their homes to the map.Thanks!

  2. UR Menu - tooltip

    The UR menu breaks off URs with a long category. This has the effect that you cannot see in the menu when it was last updated, and you have to open the UR for that. So I suggest to make a tooltip for those URs, or alternatively make it 2 lines instead of one.

  3. Why did you get rid of the 'animals' on the side of the road?

    Why did you get rid of the 'animals' on the side of the road? I now have to alert people about deer, etc by clicking on the general 'hazard'

  5. Residential - show closest semgent where the drive will lead

    Hello, there,
    in the new editor v. 2.242 there are no possibility to show the residential names. I have to choose each to be able to see their names. And there is no possibility to show the neariest part of segment where the drive will be lead.
    Is it possible to enable the option to "show residential names" just as it is for POIs and parking places?
    Is it possible to enable "show the closest segment where will be driver navigated"?
    It is pretty needed, because to create the residential is very easy, but if there are more streets around,…

  6. Parking spaces available in car parks in real time

    Several cities around the world have a real-time feed of available spaces in their parking lots.

    It would be really relevant to be able to have it in Waze so that we can be guided directly to the city center or bus/tram hub. Currently Waze allows you to get around perfectly, but concretely, once you arrive in town, it does not help you to park, so the purpose is not achieved in a certain way. It’s also a matter of sustainability. Waze should help for less time and gaz wasted.

  7. Separators and Decimal Signs per Language

    I noticed that in the Waze Editor, under Trips and Segment Lengths, there is a number where the sign for a decimal is a .
    For example: At 175 kilometers and 300 meters it says: 175.300 km
    In the Netherlands, for example, we use different signs to indicate decimals.
    At 1000 meters we do: 1.000 meters
    At 25 kilometers and 200 meters we do: 25,200 km (or 25.200 meters).

    For example, you see 844 meters for the lengths of segments. If you then click on a segment, it suddenly says 1.340 km. For us in the Netherlands, that is 1340…

  8. Leader board changes

    The leader board ranking should be updated automatically and not the day after.
    The leader board should be split or selectable by points for edits only vs driving.
    This should encourage new editors and let them see that their work reflects in a higher ranking (if they are sensitive for this) which isn't hijacked by people who are only driving.

    I propose the implementation of marking all traffic lights, even those without speed radar, in the Waze app’s mapping system. This feature aims to enhance the navigation experience, provide greater driver safety, and enable more accurate and efficient routes.

    Including traffic lights on the Waze map would allow:

    1. Greater Accuracy in Route Time Calculation: By accounting for waiting times at traffic lights, Waze’s algorithm could offer more precise route estimates, preventing unexpected delays for users.

    2. Suggestion of Faster and Safer Routes: With the location of traffic lights known, Waze could suggest alternative routes, avoiding intersections that require longer waiting times…

  10. Regarding incorrect registration of address

    Please change to allow deletion of incorrectly registered addresses when registering a new address for a point or street.

    Add a control to properties of a place to switch between the main name and an alternative name

  13. See Editable Areas and Area Managers when zoomed out

    The layers "Editable Areas" and "Area Managers" are only visible at zoom layers 12 and above.

    It would be helpful to see these layers at larger zoom levels to better understand what areas you can edit, and who the relevant Area Managers are.

  14. Possibility for editors to create map update requests, for changes that need higher level editors.

    Many times I can see needed changes or map problems that are prohibited for my level to edit or fix. But there is no option to report these issues to the higher levels, inside the map editor.
    Should I have to drive there and create a map issue report?

  16. Height limitation of bridges

    I think WME should have a bridge height segment. Some of the bridges, at least here in Finland, are really low and even a van is in danger of getting stuck on its roof. It would make driving easier.

    With the same effort, it would certainly be great if the roads also got a possible weight restriction segment.

  17. Cambiar icono en modo moto

    In Car mode, you can change the icon to another one. But in MOTORCYCLE mode, this is not possible and a very thin motorcycle (2D) appears that blends in with the road and is difficult to see easily when riding a motorcycle.
    You should be able to change to a more visible one, such as the arrow or triangle that stands out more. This way, you will avoid taking your eyes off the road more than necessary.

  18. edit geometry/allow saves whilst adding closures

    be able to edit geometry of segments that have active closures, as currently to edit geometry (without affecting node id) is to remove closure edit geometry and then re-add closure. as well as that allow the ability to add closures whilst having unsaved edits.

  19. Default expiration date for map comments

    There are a vast number of map comments without an expiration date that are no longer relevant. This causes map editors to open them to read the comments.
    I suggest that when adding a map comment, the default expiration date be one year later, and the user can delete the date to make the comment permanent. This will hopefully minimize the number of "junk comments" in the map.

  20. Hazard addition to go to suggest an edit

    Let all editors add Permanent Hazards but since it is locked by level they can be moved to "Suggest an edit" so spamming with permanent hazards or fake hazards are not added to the map.
