Would like to hear verbal announcements when the speed limit changes.
Do not give me verbal directions on my normal home or work trips unless the suggested trip deviates from the normal drive between to points such as home and work. I know the way to work and home. Please only give verbal suggestions if the best drive there would be better due to some other traffic that would delay the trip.
I also don't need a reminder 200 feet away from an intersection and then another as I get there. Sometimes these announcements are only 5 seconds apart. It…

Pin reports to report - not submit
Sometimes it can take a while to report (especially map issues which usually require comments), and by the time I hit "submit" I'm already a considerable distance away, which can sometimes make it impossible to figure out what the issue was. So I think the report should be shown at the place where the Wazer starts reporting instead of where they finished submitting the report.

Actual scale option for map viewing
One improvement I think would be worth implementing in Waze is offering a true-to-scale map view option, in addition to the current zoom feature.
In some situations, especially when driving within cities, I find that the map is zoomed out too far, making it difficult to see the details of roads, intersections, and nearby access points. This can make navigation less intuitive, especially in areas with many streets close together.
My suggestion would be to allow users to choose between the current view, with adjustable zoom, and a true-to-scale mode, which would maintain a more accurate representation of distances and…

Suggestion for improvement: Voice notification when entering a city
Hi, everyone!
Recently, while traveling, I found myself missing a feature that I think could be very useful in Waze: a voice notification when entering a city.
The idea is that, when crossing a city boundary while navigating, Waze would announce something like: “Welcome to [city name]!”
This would be especially useful on highway trips, since many cities don’t have visible or well-placed identification signs, making it hard to know exactly when we’re entering or passing through a city.

Camera distance report
Please add an option in the settings that allows users to select the notification distance for police and speed camera alerts. Ideally, this would let us choose a specific number of kilometers (or miles) before the reported location where the warning should appear — for example, 1 km, 2 km, 5 km, etc. This would function as an "early warning" system that the user can customize based on their preferences and driving conditions.
Why this would be useful:
It gives drivers more time to adjust their speed safely.

Not sure what this category nor where to put this. But i absolutely hate when master cheif calls me a soldier. Im uniquely from a position like him. Its SAILOR, SHIPMATE, MARINE, DEVIL, DEVILDOG. NOT SOLDIER! THATS ARMY! Everyone Master cheif worked with was MARINES and Sailors. Car/Vehicle On Inside or Outside Shoulder
I’ve had situations where I can’t see over the vehicle in front of me, and after seeing the car on shoulder hazard, assuming they are off to the right side shoulder, boom someone on the inside appears and it’s scary sometimes.

There is an intersection that doesn't need to be a point of reference. How do I provide more details?
There is an interscetion that shows up as a point of reference that doesn't need to be- it's the enterance to a mall. The main issue I have with this is that it's really close to a freeway entrance and the next turn directions don't always show up so it creates a last minute "what lane do I need to be in" situation. I woudl love to be able to update this on the map

Flock cameras notifier
We need flock camera notifier on the Waze app. Flock camera has been everywhere and can we add a feature to notify where they are and a feature to select the route to the destination avoiding all or most of the flock camera.

Automate restricted area pass creation directly from WME to eliminate lengthy manual workflows
The current workflow to create and deploy navigation passes (toll and restriction passes) is overly complicated, error-prone, and causes massive delays for local communities and map editors.

Virtual Cockpit Audi MMI
Hello, so nowadays there are updates on AUDI virtualCockPit to see waze on dashboard and not only in MMI display.
It works perfectly, but the buttons on the wheel is not working not zooming in, zooming out.
MMI version:
MHI2QERAUG22_P5092it's working through carplay. Point is that google maps are working perfectly with wheel buttons to zoom in and zoom out. it's waze's app issue and not audi.

Waze Head up display
When I make a route with an app like Apple maps or Google maps in Carplay. I can follow the navigation on my Mercedes head up display. However, this is not the case with Waze. This would certainly be an added value.

Variable Speed Limits
Variable speed limits on motorways should be a feature.
It could be a tick box to add (as a speed camera is), which lets users know the maximum speed limit, but also that it is variable in that section.
And/or, users can report what the variable speed limit is while in a variable speed limit zone. Warn editors before hitting the daily proposal limit instead of failing on save
Currently, Level 1 editors are limited to submitting 10 edit proposals per day. However, the editor UI does not indicate when this daily quota has been exhausted.
As a result, an editor can continue selecting locked segments, making extensive adjustments, and editing attributes—only to receive an error ("Editors are only allowed 10 proposals per day") when finally attempting to save. All of that un-submittable work is then essentially lost or blocked.
Suggested improvements:
Visible Counter / Indicator: Display a counter in the WME interface showing remaining proposals for the current 24-hour window (e.g., "Proposals remaining today: X/10").
