  1. Low Bridge Permanent Hazards

Looking at the possibility of adding a permanent hazard marker to low bridges E.g 2.0m and under. Some readily available cars are taller than a few bridges in Australia and having the ability that we can set to avoid them instead of having to reroute a potentially (with some areas) a 20 minute detour would be helpful.

  2. Editor drop pin on app

It would be great if Editors could have a "pin" button on the app drive screen. Sometimes when driving I come across a map error or some feature not existing on the map that would be good to add (like new speedbumps, changes in speed limits etc).

At the moment Editors would either have to wait for someone else to report the change, or they need to log a General map error, which takes a few screens to complete on the app. This is quite a dangerous situation as your eyes will not be on the road but trying to…

  3. URs: Simple reply form to provide more detail

As most editors will attest to, the rate of receiving follow-up details from users who submit URs is still very low. When we follow up and ask for further details, I'm sure many users click on the 'View Report' button in the e-mail intending to reply, but are then put off by the fact that they have to go through a clumsy process of logging in to a WME interface they probably haven't used before (which is not optimised for mobile phones, and if they haven't previously logged in to WME they have to go through two layers of security…

  4. Bumpstops missing

Here in Mexico we have a lot of speed bumps ("topes") that are poorly marked by the authorities — often unpainted and with no warning sign.

It would be really helpful to have a dedicated icon to report the position of a speed bump missing, so drivers get an alert in advance, can brake in time, and avoid damaging their vehicle.

  5. Better fitted screen icons when reporting road issues using Android Auto.

    Hello Waze experts!

My suggestion is to resize the icons that appear when reporting an issue.

When I need to report a pothole or an object on the road, for example, some icons fall outside the visible area of the screen. This makes reporting harder and takes my attention off the road for longer than it should.

My proposal is to use smaller icons so that all options fit on a single screen.

  10. Allow me to specify a route

You only suggested 93N and 95N from southeastern Massachusetts to southern Maine when I wanted to go 495N which was actually faster than 95N. I'd like to specify a route without having to add an arbitrary stop

  11. Display the speed bump direction (A->B or B->A) with the icon to make it easier to add them to one-way segments

When adding speed bumps that are one-way only, for example, at a raised intersection, it's generally hit or miss which direction is correct, so this requires extra clicks to get correct. Being able to see the segment direction indicated with the icon would make it much simpler to select the direction.

  12. Add a feature so drivers can avoid width restrictions

Would be good to add a feature to avoid roads with 7 foot or 6.6 foot width restrictions

  13. Safety Concern: Missing Stop Sign Display in Waze

Although stop signs exist at certain locations, they are not displayed in Waze.
This lack of support may cause drivers—especially those unfamiliar with the area—to overlook stop points, creating safety concerns.
If Waze Map Editors could directly add stop signs within the editor interface, such issues could be resolved more efficiently.
For improved safety and map accuracy, please consider adding a feature that allows editors to place stop signs directly.

  14. Proposal: Improve Access to Event Announcement Pages from the Live Map

    Hello Waze Team,

Currently, the Waze Live Map does not provide a link button to event announcement pages. In addition, event detail pages do not include a button to return to the Live Map or the event list.

As a result, when users share an event detail link on social media and others try to check additional road closures afterward, they have no way to navigate back, which causes the experience to break down.

To improve usability and navigation, I would like to request the following enhancements:

Add a link button to event announcement pages on the Live Map

    Add…

Please consider adding a "Prefer fewer speed bumps" route option. It would improve passenger comfort and reduce vehicle wear, especially for professional drivers.

  16. Reason for rejecting the PUR

I receive many complaints from new editors who find it frustrating that their Place Update Requests (PURs) are rejected by other editors without even receiving a notification, and especially without any explanation of why the request was denied.

"How are we supposed to know what we did wrong if we're never told the reason?" is by far the complaint I hear most often.

Because of this, I believe this is both a very valid and necessary improvement. I also believe Waze itself would agree, since the newer Suggest an Edit feature—such as adding house numbers or creating a new road—already…

  18. In WME beta, allow editors to "change" their user level

As of now, if we want to test certain features in the beta WME, like suggest an edit, or curated tasks for L1 editors we need to have a test Waze account at L1 and then request that this account have access to the beta editor thru a CAR form. Creating these extra accounts and requesting special beta access takes time and effort. A solution to this problem would be a setting in the Beta WME where we could choose how we want to test. As a level 1,2,3, etc. Problem solved; anyone with access to the beta WME can…

  20. Car Play - Heads up Display Integration

Google maps and Apple maps has this feature.

With my car, I have a heads up display feature.
The direction arrows and lane arrows will show up on the heads up display.

I'm not sure what tech this is actually linking into to do this, but I would love this feature.
