  1. Make hazard potholes permanent

    Dear Waze Team,

    Please consider adding the option to mark potholes as permanent hazards, similar to how permanent speed cameras are handled. In South Africa, many potholes remain unrepaired for months or even years. Making these hazards visible on a long-term basis would significantly improve road safety and help drivers avoid costly damage, accidents, and injuries.

    This feature could make a real difference in countries where road maintenance is lacking, and it aligns perfectly with Waze’s mission to improve driving experiences through community-driven insights.

  2. Lane guidance: Make "View Only" and "View and Hear" behaviors consistent for "continue straight" lanes

    In WME we have two options if we want to force "continue" lane guidance to be surfaced to the user - view only, and view and hear (or more recently, with and without audible instructions).

    Aside from the obvious difference in whether or not an audible instruction is issued to "use the Left 3 lanes to continue straight ..." or only a visual instruction, there's another more subtle behavior change that is not always welcome - namely, if you use the "View and Hear" option, it is additionally treated as a "Continue" TIO (turn instruction override).   3. Voice Updates

    For reporting of Voice Updates of Hazards etc, the button should be bigger and should not conflict with other buttons or map options, if possible if we speak like "waze" and then report a hazard etc this should work with voice command without pushing any buttons

    Today we cannot modify opening hours assigned to a place, but have to delete them and add new ones. We need a control to modify opening hours.

    Como si lo hace cuando llevas una ruta estableciada

  20. Validation workflow & access to all functions

    Hello,

    I'm a current level 3 Area Manager and every day I have to deal with bottlenecks because I don't have the necessary level to make changes.
    So I have to find a L4 or L5 to do it, explain it to them and get the result.
    This is very time-consuming and somewhat archaic these days.

    I'd like to suggest the following:
    Be able to give all editors access to all functions or perhaps from L2 or L3 if we want there to be a minimum of editing experience. As well as adding a validation workflow for functions that currently…
