Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.
Thanks!

An error occurred while saving the comment the1who commentedI'll vote for this...I was going to create a new suggestion, but it would fragment the suggestions if I did that.
With a Nuvi, I was able to insert a waypoint before the destination, say on a trip and something came up, I needed to search for a gas station, rest stop, etc, I was able to retain my original destination information and have a stop in between.
We need more support of this, this is a feature lacking from the client at the moment for sure.
Since the routing feature has expanded the allowed total mileage, it comes in handy for those road trips. Thanks in advance!

When we as editors edit the map, we have been crippled to the UR lacking details in most cases, but under cartouche, we used to be able to look a user up and ask for more information, or at least provide a way for them to email us by writing some feedback.
That has been missing with papyrus. If this is the way of the future, I'd like to request that if someone wants to be anonymous in the UR, that they can select it from the UR options, but if they'd like to be contacted so we can provide more research to fix their problem, that they can provide their registered email or something.
Granted, we would like to see users populate not only the client, but the editor to provide more complete maps, but there isn't a way to truly turn the ratio any different than what it is. There will always be those involved and active, editing, using the client alike, and then those who just use the client. I have found UR that were from 4 months ago. Granted, I might have missed some time, but lets be honest, we are all human here. Second, I left some open hoping that they'd get interested to update it themselves, and get online to fix it. However, there seems to be that piece missing, some disconnect. Maybe it isn't advertised enough? Maybe they truly don't want to mess with it except the client? It is fine either way, but give some options please.
If we are concerned about privacy, then default to an anonymous report, but at least allow them to provide contact details of some sort, and in my opinion, a radio button or check box to add their registered email or something to the report would be a great deal of help I honestly do believe.
I think that users would enjoy it too, those that are just in it for using the client, when someone reaches out to them and they might think how cool, someone actually cares enough about this to try to fix it. Instead of those reports for not identified being returned more often, it'd be nice to see more solved problems. Please consider, thank you!
