2. When approaching destination, it would be nice if waze said "destination will be on the left" or destination will be on the right"

   Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

   We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

   Driver distraction is a major problem causing many accidents. In its current form Waze contributes to driver distraction by not covering the top bar of an Android phone. It still shows that there are new Whatsapp/Facebook/Gmail messages. Would it be possible to have the option to have Waze in full screen, covering everything so that there is less driver distraction.
