The screen in landscape mode is so much obsctructed by the boxes that it looks like no developer ever checked the landscape mode.

Guys, the map view is obstructed with all kinds of fields most of the time, it's not just in landscape mode.

request full screen in landscape mode without the "where to" portion blocking the screen.

In my car with android auto all is perfect, fullscreen all the time, everything is easy to see even when no route set. Why the big difference when using the app alone? please add fullscreen in landscape mode (and hide buttons) when no route set 🙏

My Waze and search fields take almost half of the screen space in landscape mode.. This is extremely frustrating. Please add an option to hide them when I drive without navigation please. please please.

I usually keep the APP open just to drive around and see the streets and dont need navigation and half the screen is taken up by the search fields. Make an option where you touch the screen and it goes full. I dont think it can be that hard to accomplish since other navigation apps do this.

I couldn't agree more with Bruno. I also use Waze on my motorbike and have exactly the same issue.

I use the app while riding my motorcycle and use the phone in landscape mode, the issue is that half the screen is covered with the search bar, granted if i use the gps, like search for a place and set destination the screen will be full, but for commute i don't use that feature, and even in portrait mode it takes a good chunk.

And don't say that it auto hides because it doesn't, my commute is 40 minutes, sometimes i catch a glimpse of the search bar hiding but it pops up in the same second back again without me doing anything, there must be a conflit of some sort if i could send you a screen record of my phone you would understand

I need tru full screen navigation on my phone.
What I mean is full screen like you get watching youtube, Netflix or any other streaming service in landscape mode. No black bars, no status bar, just waze all over the screen.

How about having wide screen satnav that we can mount on car window screens with 3D style maps and off road terrains

It is annoying to see notification of messages and social networks, ends up distracting and at times covers important information.

Driver distraction is a major problem causing many accidents. In its current form Waze contributes to driver distraction by not covering the top bar of an Android phone. It still shows that there are new Whatsapp/Facebook/Gmail messages. Would it be possible to have the option to have Waze in full screen, covering everything so that there is less driver distraction.

I see a lot of drivers that would be interested in joining Waze, so if there was a quick button that displayed 'WAZE' as large and as readable as possible, I could show it to them at stoplights, or my passenger could as we were driving. More Wazers more data!
