Great thinking! We’ll share with the team; they’re always interested in new feature ideas.

On a wholy different matter to accidents recording, it would be extremely cool to start recording for something like a preset few minutes or dozen seconds, manually launched with a convenient button, so that you could record fuel price signs, then comfortably report them back home.
There could be a feature showing on the map where the recording took place, when you play it back, so you don't have to search for the place manually.
I'd report fuel prices much more often, if there was such a feature!

Waze default voices are completely unusable: in my language, those are men voices, which get masked enough by my car engine for me not to understand it 90% of the time. So I use a custom language directory, with custom .bin files (renamed mp3s, with a woman voice), and it's finally possible for me to understand what Waze tells me to do.
Of course, those files are not TTS, and they can't tell me street or road names. But it still is much better than the useless default men voices. Which is really ridiculous.
I'd really like to purchase an enjoyable TTS engine, that'd be able to pronounce street and road names, Google would even make a small profit out of such a purchase on the playstore, but as it is, I have no use in buying such a thing (Waze is the only place where I would use TTS).
I don't really hope it will be fixed (this has been annoying me for nearly two years), but should Waze devs fix that dimwitted limitation, it'd probably be the new feature I'd enjoy the most (social crap really gets on my nerve, though: NO, I don't freaking want to tell people when I arrive!!!! I haven't been raised by ferocious boars: people already know when I'm supposed to arrive a lot before I even get in the car).
