Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.
Thanks!

Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Agreed. Dependent upon how much of a rush you are in, this is very important. Sometimes you’re only out shopping so it doesn’t matter too much whilst other times you are extremely late to Work or for Work. So for example; I am a nurse where I do house visits & sometimes I need to get to a patient’s address very quickly and to be alerted that a particular route is delayed by traffic, an accident oh a police incident would really really help me in deciding if I need to choose another route. Not letting me know 500 feet away when I’m almost stuck in it guaranteed, but letting me know a good five or 10 miles away so I can make an informed decision. I was also once on a major jewel carriageway and came upon a large fridge freezer that must have fell off the back of a van which lie horizontally across to lanes. I reported it via the app only to come back in the direction an hour later, and it was much further away than I reported because of the time delay between, by the time it took me to click report, what I’m reporting and upload time. If I was a hit such a heavy object at 70 MPH, my vehicle would’ve been completely written off and I would’ve been injured, hopefully not hitting anybody else. Being told much more in advance and having a more accurate location pinpointed is definitely vital to this app.
