Great timing! We’re currently working on WME should indicate when a segment end overlaps but is not connected. Keep an eye out for updates on the WME.

Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

An error occurred while saving the comment I believe this is a vehicle limitation? I have driven other vehicles that successfully display Waze maps on the driver cluster, which should mean the app allows the functionality.

An error occurred while saving the comment It's only a minor thing, but the description within the hazard reporting mechanism to alert users to a vehicle on the shoulder currently reads "car on shoulder."
This may discourage people from using it if it's a truck, or some other vehicle that isn't strictly a 'car'.

I made a script a little while back that helps with this, you can find it here: https://www.waze.com/discuss/t/script-place-autofill-url-telephone-formatter-au-dr-mx-ie-cy-gr-co-only
It formats the telephone number and website URL and can also import the Google Place data that the Waze session has already imported. It will also position the place relative to its actual Google Place coordinates.
If you're in a different country to AU/DR/MX/IE/CY/GR/CO, the phone number matching won't work, but the rest works fine. I can also update the script to match your locale for phone number matching as well, just let me know in that thread.
