    This should indeed to done. It's a very poor user experience to have to go into settings and set this for EVERY journey.

    'Automatically turn on' is there as an option, but it waits for battery to become low before kicking in. It's too late if it's already become low!

    Thank you for your suggestion!
    The Report button was designed to be noticed while blending in and it’s important to keep it as is.
    However, we will revisit this idea when working on Dark mode, in the future. Furthermore, since this is a physical issue that OLED phones suffer from in different apps, we recommend to use Battery Saver mode to allow your display some rest from bright colors that might lead to this dysfunction.

    Waze should consider justifying this as a safety issue/option. No need to have the phone display distracting you between announcements...
