Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year. We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted.

it would be nice to select a contact or add a facebook friend or add a phone number of a friend to start a friend request. pre-G waze did this IIRC.

I'd like to even be able to add friends AT ALL. so far all I get are six fb friends i rarely see, no option to add others. my husband is on fb and waze and is my fb friend but waze does not allow me to add him as a friend in any way. He has me as a waze friend and can send etas but i have to find him in my contacts every time to send a notification.
