Great thinking! We’ll share with the team; they’re always interested in new feature ideas.

Objectives:
1. To assist emergency responders and give them the best route;
2. To alert Wazers to be courteous to these vehicles; and,
3. To save lives!What are the key features?
1. Have an "emergency vehicle" option.
2. Have an alerter to Wazers that there's an emergency to pass by them.
3. Give the emergency responders the best and fastest route to their destination.How to implement?
1. Have the local government give such special accounts to emergency responders to identify themselves on the map. (Why? This is to avoid spam.)
2. If there are private emergency organizations, have them coordinate to their local government unit to have this special ability. (This is good for fire stations that was not established and not being run by the government.)What's in it for the government?
This is great for emergency call centers (like 911). They could have a Waze live map on their desk, so they could dispatch immediately those emergency vehicles on the road that's not in emergency and/or waiting for calls.Other features:
1. Have an option for the emergency responders to classify them whether they are in emergency (on call) or not. So that, it would not trigger the alerter on the Wazers' side when not needed to.
2. Obviously, have the Wazers the option to disable this kind of alerter.Feel free to comment down below for any other suggestions that I didn't mention!

We plan to work on marking the street with playing kids in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.
