Allow users to choose to display routes on their Phone instead forcing on the Android Auto
Allow users to choose whether to use their phone as Waze for routes or Android Auto as the main display, instead of forcing it to display on Android Auto. Some people want to stream music using Android Auto and use their phones to see directions, as it doesn't distract them from the road. Some head units in cars are positioned lower from the direction of the road and are more of a hassle to look at while driving.

Adjust the location of alerts
In Android Auto, whenever an alert appears, it hides the search buttons, alternative routes, sound, and especially the button to create an alert. This means you have to close the alert to access the create alert button. This wastes time creating the alert and makes it unsafe, as this additional step distracts the driver.
One suggestion is to have alerts appear below the traffic directions without pushing the interface to the right.

Add support for government emergency alerts (cell broadcast integration) to notify drivers entering affected areas
As a Waze volunteer editor, I’d like to suggest integrating a feature that uses official cell broadcast emergency alerts sent by governments or national agencies (such as AMBER Alerts, severe weather warnings, or public safety alerts).
The idea is simple: when a Waze user drives into an area where a cell broadcast alert was recently sent, the app could display a notification or short message about it — even if that driver didn’t originally receive the alert on their phone because they were outside the area at the time.

MINION VOICE
Hi. I’m Jay from Malaysia, would like to request to BRING BACKKKKK the Minion voices for navigation. The moment it’s been taken down, I don’t feel like using WAZE or going on the long travel anymore😭 I want them them, Minion voices is not just a voice, it turned the journey stress free. Using it since a year i can understand Minion language already. Now it changes to some other boring voices. I dont feel like driving, no energy, feel stress during the traffic😭
I hope you’ll reconsider bringing back the MINION VOICE PLSSSSSS😭😭😭😭😭

Routes
Need more routes was going from Wisconsin to Joplin Mo. your new system wanted to send me though Illinois. I didn’t want to go to Illinois wanted to go though Iowa. When it finally found me in Iowa it finally calculated to my route it took me an hour out of the way!! Your not improving this app your ruining it!! We liked multiple routes and shortest distance the two thing you ruin!!!

satellite roads
I do understand the possible changes behind the scenes of the app but i honestly believe satellite roads is safer and more efficient for drivers as it provides a clearer view of the roads being driven on and not confusing drivers as it is confusing with cartoonish roads that nearly blend in together making it hard to understand which roads to take especially on highways. I have personally experienced not only myself but also seen other users of Waze experience missing exits and nearly and actually getting on to wrong exits because of the confusing “cartoonish” Waze maps. SPLIT: I don’t like that others can see my speed
I don’t like that others can see my speed if I use that part of the app so I can watch my speed. Can authorities access that info ever??? Because I do speed sometimes and I don’t want others seeing or recording my speed...

Set the audio in advance
There is a risk every time you open the app and set a destination: the app could disturb you with its voice without you being able to predict it in advance. It would be enough to place the voice control on the home screen, then before setting the destination.(Of course, it's always possible to go into the settings beforehand, but it's a bit of a complex procedure and is therefore almost never done.)

Malheureusement la mise à jour fait que sur les anciennes voitures comme la mienne qui est une Jetta 2016 avec un écran un peu plus petit j'ai maintenant de la misère lire le nom des sorties c'était beaucoup mieux avant pourquoi ne pas avoir deux versions d'interface une pour les nouveaux écrans qui sont beaucoup plus grands et une pour les anciens qui en plus n'ont pas besoin d'être en haute définition donc les images ne prendront pas beaucoup de place dans le fichier APK

Do not turn the map before you have actually turned.
Currently, when you arrive at a crossroads, the map turns as soon as you stop. If you are not looking at the screen, you will make a mistake. The same thing happens at small roundabouts. The vehicle could almost go straight ahead, but the map turns for no good reason.

Good afternoon, I wanted to suggest streamlining the Waze system. In light of recent truck crashes on bridges, I would enter a figure for the maximum height of all bridges, so that before each trip, the truck driver would have to measure the maximum height and enter the figure into the Waze system, and the system would automatically navigate the driver to the road with the bridge at the appropriate height. This would save on accidents and, God forbid, loss of life.
