Allow user to see turn-by-turn direction list when using Waze via Android Auto.
When connected via Android Auto and using Waze there is no means to pull up the turn-by-turn directions list, even if the vehicle is parked. This forces the driver to drive "blind", not knowing what to expect between the start of the trip and the destination. In city use cases, this makes Waze via Android Auto unusable.

Allow users to remove ding for hazard and back to custom or default voice for hazard announcements.

Speedometer position Android Auto
Actual Speed and Limit icons to be set closer to driver position (left or right of screen) depending on driver position in settings.
On car displays having the icons on opposite side can take the attention off the road for too long when trying to observe the speed limit / actual speed.12 votes -

Enable full control in the app using voice only
Add an option to interact with the app using voice control
for instance :
reporting an obstacle on the road using Siri/Google assistant,
rerouting to a new destination while driving,
share your location using a voice command.
All these options should prevent the user from touching the phone while driving and decrease distractions.
The convenience of using the app while talking only will increase the amount of users reporting , and interacting with the many options given in the app.
This will lead to more credible information to be provided for the users.12 votes -
Add More Car Icons
I would like to see more options for car icons. Rather than Waze spending time creating the icons, Waze could provide specifications for icons and users could then create and upload their own car icons. A handheld GPS unit I used to have had this capability. It was great to be able to select things like the U.S.S. Enterprise, or Defiant, or Enterprise-E, or Airwolf, or K.I.T.T... or whatever users could come up with.

Speed Camera Reports throughout an Average Speed Check Zone
When I’m alerted that i’m in an average speed check zone, I tend to get notified every 20-30 seconds of a camera as part of that zone. It gets repetitive and quite annoying as I know that I need to remain within that speed limit until i’m notified that I have left the average speed check zone. It’s just a suggestion but would it make more sense if speed camera alerts were removed whilst in an average speed check zone?

Show international borders on route
It would be very helpful to show international borders. For some reason these are not visible once the route is chosen. Due to uncertain wait times at some borders, which Waze isn't very good at calculating, it would be helpful to at least display them and let drivers make choices based on other information (there are other apps that monitor these wait times, such as Border Watch). Also, had I not already known that Waze was sending me through Albania, I would have been unable to avoid additional charges, hassles, and delays (Albania requires extra documentation from European drivers that…

Android auto roundabout interface
The icon that my car is displaying on roundabouts is wrong continously. It has changed, but now shows the exit number and an icon that I need to turn around from where I came from. Please, just do the same as Google Maps is doing, show the right icon witht the right exit number (so exit 1, one quarter of a round).
Additionally, I also saw at the roundabout near I live that the first exit was displayed as an left turn, which is wrong altogether.12 votes -
Alertas de lombadas e faixa de pedestres elevadas.
O Waze deveria informar com antecedência a aproximação de obstáculos fixos e permanentes como lombadas, faixas de pedestres elevadas e rótulas nas rodovias com avisos sonoros,símbolos no mapa e alerta visual na tela.

Current speed colour
I’d really like the Current Speed to be a different colour. Red text over black background is too hard to see with sunglasses on. It would be better if it could have white text on the black background or change it to say yellow text on the black background perhaps.
Whatever it is, it needs to stand out.

Remove submenus from report “hazard” in CarPlay/AA.
To report road works, or a stopped car you need to click report then select hazard, then select 1 of 3 submenus and then select the hazard inside the submenu, I think this is unnecessary, since there is enough space in the CarPlay main report menu to separate the “hazard” button into 3 separate icons, each corresponding to one of the previous submenus, this wold eliminate an entire step in the reporting process, making it safer, and therefore more people wold use it.

Bonjour , les conducteurs en conduite accompagnée ont besoin de faire un reporting trajet km, conditions de circulation, environnement… : Waze pourrait développer une appli oi option permettant d’obtenir l’ace type de récapitulatif de trajets et 1/ apporter un service de qualité au suivi pédagogique de l’apprentissage 2/ fidéliser des jeunes futurs utilisateurs, qu’en pensez vous ? Speed limits ahead
How about an Info of speed limits ahead on cirrent road.
Why?
If you travel over Land, you are usually allowed to do 100kmh. At intersections, small villages etc. the speed Limit is usually reduced to 70kmh. If there could be some kind of Information with a speed Limit ahead, about 300 to 500m ahead you could just take you foot of the Gas an let the car roll to safe energy. I Do it regularly on known Routers, if traffic allows it (no one behind me how might be annoyed). With this Methode I m able to have 1…12 votes
