    Hallo,
    My name is Sarah Reich and I have four improvements for WAZE.

    1/4:
    There are roads/intersection, which have statistically higher rates of car accidents and therefore are dangerous roads/intersection.
    My suggestion:
    Every road or stretch of road would be color coded by WAZE according to its danger lever – red, yellow, or green. Moreover, the driver will have the option to hear or not about the dangers of their route, and ensure they are prepared.

  2. RED ROUTE INDICATED IN MAP VIEW

    An added feature could be to include Red routes, when my phone rings, I often pull over when safe to do so, sometimes its not obvious that the car is on a red route so stopping is prohibited, it be good to look and check my Waze to see may be a thin red line on the map that indicates a red route,
    I came off a red route onto a round about and joined another road it was not obvious to me that the road I joined which has many parked up lorries overnight had become a red route,…

  3. BUG: Voice operator (turn by turn voice) starts when connected to carplay.

    having issues where when i connect my phone for carplay the "voice operator" shows up and "mutes" my music / lowers the volume of the music. and until i go into a music app and back to waze twice it does not turn off the turn by turn voice operator and let the music play at the proper volume.

  4. Add “Wazer Needs Help” indication

    The hazard on should feature indicates cars that are stopped and other hazards. Imagine, it would also indicate if that car is a Water in need.

    I am suggesting that a Water can indicate if she/he needs help. Adding a toggle box “need help” and possibly specifics, like “out of gas”, “flat tire”, “medical emergency” etc.

    I do occasionally stop when a car is on the shoulder with the hazards on and offer my help. Often it’s just a bathroom break but in more than half the cases I am actually able to offer meaningful help.

  7. Turn off Gas Stations Option

    Need the option to turn off the display of gas stations on the map.

    I live in the city where every exit have several stations. My Map is full of Gas Stations and its hard to see any advisory because of the clutter. If I am on a long trip and need to find a station, then I should be able to turn this feature on.

    make carpooling safer by enabling only verified users (government ids) to use the system and log each ride for a certain duration
    currently people are concerned for their safety and are hesitant to ride with strangers
    if it became known that all shared rides are logged with actual ids (in a private database), then that would deter potential predators and increase participation

  9. Misleading Voice contractions

    When Waze voice is talking, the software uses English contractions. Two words contracted into one word. For example "you have" is contracted to the single word "you've". The use of contractions by Waze voice is misleading and can lead to drivers getting lost. Currently, when approaching your destination, Waze will say "You'll arrive in 1000 feet". This is confusing and can be misinterpreted as "You've arrived". Instead, Waze should NOT use contractions and instead speak each individual word. "You will arrive in 1000 feet." "You have arrived at your destination."

    <BUG> iphone is set to US english. Waze voice setting is English UK Kate.
    Ranch to Market Roads in Texas “RM-nnnn”are being pronounced as Room nnnn.
    Ranch to Market roads , Farm to Market roads and Ranch Roads are all legitimate road designation and should be pronounced as
    Ranch Road or “are-are”
    Farm to Market or “ef-m”
    Ranch to Market or “are- m”

  12. snowmobile crossing

    Have Waze alert drivers that there is a snowmobile crossing on the road the same way it alerts for railroad crossings. There has been too many injuries and deaths' due to cars colliding with snowmobiles crossing the road.

  13. Directions Light up

    When approching a Direction instruction, light the Arrows green,yellow,red and blinking, so the driver be aware to new turn.
    I missed a turn on highway , if the screen would flicker my attention will focus to Waze on time.
    Simple and helpful.

    Waze needs to evolve into a comprehensive app to get ahead of its competition. Surfing between modes in a single app will be the future. I am not a frequent Waze user but have used it for drives over two hours.

    Idea One: Create a WazeRoadTrip – For extended drives. Within this feature I would recommend sharing of content if opted in by other Waze users.   16. Clean roads field

    In complexe situaties is het van belang dat je in één oogopslag de kaart op je scherm kunt begrijpen. Alles wat het beeld ingewikkelder maakt, mag er wat mij betreft uit.
    - dus die grijze cirkel om de pijl: graag weg. Voegt niets toe
    - ik zou graag de mogelijkheid hebben om de vermelding van straatnamen in het scherm uit te zetten. Ze leiden af.
