Aviso de Farol Baixo.
Eu moro em São Paulo, Brasil. Aqui, nas rodovias, é obrigatório o uso de farol baixo durante o dia. Seria ótimo se o Waze nos avisa-se por meio do aplicativo assim que entramos na rodovia.

Gostaria que o waze aproveitasse a idéia do aplicativo "fogo cruzado" e permitisse aos seus usuários informar assaltos, roubos, vandalismos, arrastões, de forma que seus usuários ficariam atentos às áreas destas incidências e poderia servir também à polícia brasileira, facilitando seu trabalho.

Cuando veo el accidente no es posible reportarlo, pero adelante puedo hacerlo, pero waze no da la opción, además ubicarlo en el sitio correcto, ya que queda en el sentido de la vía que no es y más adelante o atrás del sitio donde ocurrió

Add function to show all hazards within a specified area
Also the ability to filter for different types of hazards. This could assist clean-up crews, police, etc.

Improve intelligence in determining when done with waypoint
Make it smarter about figuring out that user is down with a waypoint. For example, if I set a waypoint for a city that's half a mile off the expressway so I don't forget to get off at that exit and get gas, once I get back on the expressway it should be smart enough to realize I'm done with that waypoint, but instead it will keep insisting I turn around to go there.

Implementar a função de alertar sobre os malditos 'flanelinhas' que ninguém gosta!
Sempre ao sair para um determinado lugar, por exemplo: restaurante,
boate e etc... Sempre aparecem os malditos flanelinhas 'pedindo' para você 'deixar' vigiar o carro, caso você não autorize que eles te extorquirem arranham o seu carro...41 votes -

In the navigation screen, a button to make api calls to Shazam would be nice.
When I am driving and using Waze, it would be extremely useful to have the easy ability to shazam a song that may be playing on the radio. Having an API call/relationship with Shazam would mean you don't need to reinvent the wheel, and my id'd songs would remain with the same app I always use to id songs.

Ahorro de energía
Su aplicación gasta bastante energía de la batería del móvil, supongo que la razón principal es porque va la pantalla activada todo el rato, por eso creo que sería útil que pusieran un modo de ahorro de energía en el que la pantalla sólo se activara cuando hubiera algún aviso que mostrar o alguna desviación del camino, es decir, en un viaje de 4 horas por carretera, tal vez puedas estar una hora sin ningún tipo de aviso ni desviación de tu camino, por lo que todo ese rato la pantalla estaría apagada y no consumiría tanta batería.

Motorcycle Mood
It would be good to have a Motorcycle Mood (guy with a helmet or on a motorcycle). This would help other car Wazers identify motorcyclists and even other motorcycle Wazers find each other.
It would be helpful to also change some of the functions to be more user friendly for motorcycles, typically we ride with the phone in our pocket or on the handlebars.

Please maintain the orientation and zoom set by the user.
Please update the software to have a switch that allows the app to maintain the orientation and zoom set by the user. If the user rotates the map (let's say by 45 or 90 degrees) maintain that orientation. If the arrow is about to go off screen, center it without changing the orientation or zoom.

Commuter vs Traveler option
I love Waze but I wish toggle between travel mode and commuter mode.
I will put Waze on and just start driving and if I don't look at it I will not know that the road has two hours of traffic on it and if it tells me to go a different way I'm really not paying attention to it like that. I'm not using it as guidance as much as I am to alert me that my normal route there is traffic etc. when I plug in my home it will send me some crazy ways (no pun intended)…

Aquaplanning risks
I would like to suggest introducing “Aquaplaning risk” as a climate alert. It should be useful during raining days to another driving wazers driving in Portugal (I'm portuguese) and of course all over the world.
