Automatic start Waze when connect to car bluetooth (and turn off when blutetooth is off)
Automatic on/ off waze when connect to paired bluetooh adapter.
This is best way to have waze on when is needed in car.
Leave the car - waze goes off.

Accept all possible formats of GPS coordinates as destination
Let's do Waze more user friendly when entering GPS coordinates.
It would be nice if Waze would accept all possible formats of GPS coordinates (many www maps produce different formats of coordinates - usually with N/S, W/E letters - it is not user friendly always think how to transalte them into the only one current supported format...
I can imagine, that when using N/S, W/E letters even order of the longtitude and latitude can be switched, etc...23 votes -

Message a license plate
Hi there. How about if users register their license plates and so we could send "car-to-car" messages?! I see lights left turned on, open cars in parking lots, broken lights etc and with a feature like that I could tell the owner by "messaging his/her car", regardless any other info. Nice, huh?!

Go invisible - permenant
the "go invisible" feature is very nice. It would be great that once "go invisible" is selected, it stays that way until you decide to change it. Currently, every time you turn on the app and change designations, you have to manually select "go invisible' each time. If it's set as default "on" (to be visible) why not give the user the same option to select "go invisible" and it stays that until change versus Waze changing the user's wishes to Waze's preference and forcing the user to go back and change it back to "go invisible." Time since road been driven
Tells user most recent time since another wazer traveled that road, highway, street, etc.
This idea would allow users to know accuracy of road reports, or if none be aware of possible reports.

Alternative sound alert for major turnings/junctions
It would be good to have an alert option for just major junctions or turning on your route that are coming up.
For example, when going down a motorway or other route that you have driven previously in the past/know, you don't need constant turn by turn directions, just alerts for "getting off the motorway at junction 11" or "turn right" at a big roundabout etc.

Interdire les signalements de police pour un radar automatique
FR : Bonjour, je pense qu'il serait préférable d'interdire les signalements "contrôle de police" dans les zones de contrôle (de radar automatique) car beaucoup de gens signalent ces radars comme des contrôles de police tout ça dans le but de gagner des points (malhonnêtement)..
De plus les radars automatiques sont annoncés par des panneaux en France ! Alors tous les conducteurs sont déjà avertis de ce radar pars le simple fait d'observer les panneaux !

Have Waze check the hours of operation to ensure you will arrive while destination is open.
I went to Lowes on Sunday, only to find out that the closest store to me was closed on Sundays (Blue Laws). There were 2 other Lowes stores that were close by that were open.
Suggestion: When entering a destination that has the hours of operation completed, have Waze tell driver that the location is closed, or that it will be closed at ETA. Driver can then override the message and still go to destination, or pick a new destination of same type or name. Of course, this would only work for locations that have hours of operation.

Allow users to post information about road closures and hazards in their area, whether driving on the route or not.
I would like to be able to reject one of the suggested routes, if I know that the road is closed, for instance, and have Waze offer another suggestion.
I would also like to be able to suggest an alternate route by entering a road or tapping the map, and have Waze give me the ETA and traffic information along that route.2 votes -
Make the 'road travelled' a different colour than the 'road ahead'
I would like to see a difference in colour (or shading, or something ...) between the road already travelled and the road still ahead. Having both parts the same colour can be very confusing in twist-and-turn situations.

Nest Integration - Pre Heat/Cool when going Home
Integrate with Nest. When going Home, Waze should integrate with Nest and start heating/cooling when the estimated arrival time matches the time it takes to pre-heat/cool.

Audio as "incoming call"
I often use Waze in the car when NOT listening to the Bluetooth audio stream. Waze via the phone speaker is inaudible. Can Waze simulate an incoming call to the handsfree kit so it will mute audio and play the instructions over the speakers in the car rather than the speaker in my phone?
