Split major roads to reflect the reality of the situation
Major roads are often shown as one road when in reality they are two roads. These means alerts may refer to one side or the other causing confusion. For example is the police alert for the other side of the road or this side. Its an obvious flaw in the presentation of map data. The reality is not reflected by the maps.

Location vs route in search
It's super annoying that when I search a location, if I've never navigated to it, I can tap on it to see its info card, where if I have navigated there before, I can only start a route to that location. The only way for me to see the info card is to search and then look around the map for the location I want, if it even finds it, and tap on the map. The listed results should be just locations, unless you've navigated there recently, then show two options, one to route and one to see the info…

Remember a location
when driving if you come upon a geographic location or landmark, even though there is no specific address, you should be able to peg or save this location , giving it a name so that it can be located again at a future time (for example a beautiful lighthouse )

Android Auto Search Navigation is clunky
When searching and entering in text (from phone or car), once you have presented a list of possibilities, in order to select one I have to press “Up” to get out of the text entry; this then selects the “task bar” so I press “Right” to get back to Waze; and then I have to dial down to the desired item before finally clicking on it. At the very least “Up” should exit the text entry and jump immediately to the first item on your list. Even better, something like “Down” could exit the text entry and automatically select the…

Rendőrök helyzetének elrejtése
Azon kívül, hogy teljesen rossznak, sőt gerinctelennek tartom, hogy a térkép alapból mutatja a rendőrök helyzetét, legalább akkor ne mutassa amikor kikapcsolom ezt a jelzést. Azzal, hogy mutatják hol vannak a rendőrök lényegében kijelentik, hogy önök a bűnözők pártján vannak. Gondolom az aki örül ellen a jelzésnek azt az sem zavarja, hogy vajon hány körözött személyt nem kaptak el ez miatt, hány ittasan vezető tudta elkerülni, hogy megállítsák. Ennek a funkciónak hála egy veszélyesebb és gonoszabb világban élhetünk. Biztos büszkék magukra. Csak próbálják ki, hogy egy hónapig nem lehet látni hol van réndőr és hol van trafi. Utána meglehet nézni…

Homeless hazard sign
I suggest a new hazard - homeless people on intersections and exit ramps. This sign on the app will help drivers to avoid intersections and roads where homeless are walking on the road.

move hazard alert button
The hazard alert icon is in the lower left corner of the screen on my android auto waze screen. This results in taking my eyes off the road to reach it across the dash. If it were relocated to the lower left corner of android auto screen it would facilitate easier and safer access.

customize Shortcut buttons on map screen
I think its better let users to add 3 shortcut buttons(floating or fix) to map screen like ( vehicle stoped, police or anything which user decide) then user can report by one click ,its fast and safe
It help to make fast reports , current situation is user have to make 2/ 3 steps to make report, on busy roads its very useful.8 votes
