road alerts popups at red light
Make road alerts more gentle. I mean, a big opaque window eats up half of the screen, and waze scrolls back and forth.
My idea:
* make the popup smaller (just pictograms, smaller fonts)
* make it translucent
* don't scroll, just zoom out a bit, and show the direction if it won't fit on the map (like a cartoon bubble)5 votes -
Car care features implemented in to the Waze
Waze could have same kind of an fuctionality as there are in many car care apps in the market.
-Counting mileages and fuel consumption.
-You could set up odometer reading when u should change oil etc etc and Waze could remind you of that.
-When navigating to a far away destination Waze could warn u if gas should run out before you reach there and suggest gas station en route.For example on iPhone there is app called Gas Cubby that can count mileages and costs for running your car but you have to put in mileage and gas price…

Make pop-up traffic notifications smaller or more discrete.
Pop-up traffic notifications are too big. I can't see the road in question, especially since many roads in don't have names and I need visual clues to know exactly where the congestion is. It would really help to have a more discrete notification in a bar above or below the main view while the map pans over to the road in question.

Ciao,
in altri navigatori esiste la "funzione" naviga verso foto.
In sostanza con gli smartphone di ultima generazione quando scatti una foto il GPS traccia latitudine e longitudine nelle caratteristiche della foto stessa.
Quando esegui questa funzione il navigatore apre la galleria immagini del telefono e quando selezioni la foto di interesse calcola l'itinerario per raggiungere tale latitudine e longitudine.1 vote -

Repetitive Alerts Should be Summarized
Recently, I was using Waze on Northbound I-280 in the San Francisco Bay Area. The traffic was pretty bad. Waze is pretty popular around here and folks were reporting the bad traffic. So much so in fact that you could barely see the map. It seems to me that if you have more than two or three people basically reporting the same thing (in this case stopped traffic) you can simply summarize and say "multiple bad traffic reports" or some such. The current extremely cluttered screen is basically useless.

Move popus at bottom of the screen, because on the top there is upcoming routes which cannot be seen under popup window on small screens.

Show variance in traffic report icons on map.
There are 3 levels of traffic, but only the "heavy" icon displays. The user has to click on a traffic icon to find out whether it's moderate, heavy, or complete standstill.

Making marking spots more easily
I live in Taipei, Taiwan. Information in Waze around Taipei is much less. I often see many important places not shown in Waze map, such as convenient stores and parking space. If we can mark it on map more easily, we can improve map in Taipei more quickly.

Would like to be able to move a marked hazard.
Sometimes I can't report a hazard in the exact location due to having to drive. When I finally am able to mark a location, I am often far away from the actual event.

No need to show the route I have ALREADY travelled, just the part I am going to travel
I got really confused for a bit today when somehow I was looking at where I had ALREADY travelled. There is no need to show the part of the route I already traversed. There is only the need to show where I am going.

I'd like to have the possibility to add "black points" on the map
I'd like to add black points on the route, to advice driver for a dangerous point / dangerous corner etc.

Two way or One way scheduled
Here in Brasiília, DF, Brazil, we have some streets that are two way... but, at rush hours it's turned to one way only for a couple of hours.
Also we have another big one that is closed on sundays or holidays.
So, would be interesting to have some editor function to define the schedule of that street... because waze always route us to them and for tourists, that's sucks...

Waze distress signal
As a Wazer, wouldn't be great to be able to send out a distress signal. Tyre change, out of gas, need engine help, etc. Perhaps also car make specific help, in that case a personal setting including car make could be needed.
If another user helps you out he or she would gain some 100 p. To avoid misuse the extra points only should apply when you help a non friend Wazer.
Or turn the other way around and let users state what type of help he or she could provide. No need to get flagged for help if you…

Alerting people about highway emptiness
One thing that could make it better would be to have the ability to say streets or highways are empty so people know before hand where to go if they should get on the highway or not.

Share and listen what others are listening to or personal radio station
How about an option to share with others what I'm listening to. Even going further and this one would catch like wildfire listen to people while they are driving like tuning in to their personal station, so if a person wants to share something they turn on their personal broadcast on . Sometimes advise , idea , entertainment comes while UR driving or u want to share with people whatever. So if a person likes a station they can like them and book mark them so they can listen to them next time.
