Set the audio in advance
There is a risk every time you open the app and set a destination: the app could disturb you with its voice without you being able to predict it in advance. It would be enough to place the voice control on the home screen, then before setting the destination.(Of course, it's always possible to go into the settings beforehand, but it's a bit of a complex procedure and is therefore almost never done.)

Malheureusement la mise à jour fait que sur les anciennes voitures comme la mienne qui est une Jetta 2016 avec un écran un peu plus petit j'ai maintenant de la misère lire le nom des sorties c'était beaucoup mieux avant pourquoi ne pas avoir deux versions d'interface une pour les nouveaux écrans qui sont beaucoup plus grands et une pour les anciens qui en plus n'ont pas besoin d'être en haute définition donc les images ne prendront pas beaucoup de place dans le fichier APK

Do not turn the map before you have actually turned.
Currently, when you arrive at a crossroads, the map turns as soon as you stop. If you are not looking at the screen, you will make a mistake. The same thing happens at small roundabouts. The vehicle could almost go straight ahead, but the map turns for no good reason.

Good afternoon, I wanted to suggest streamlining the Waze system. In light of recent truck crashes on bridges, I would enter a figure for the maximum height of all bridges, so that before each trip, the truck driver would have to measure the maximum height and enter the figure into the Waze system, and the system would automatically navigate the driver to the road with the bridge at the appropriate height. This would save on accidents and, God forbid, loss of life.

Show directions in vehicle Dashboard
Recently Google Maps had an update so the turn to turn directions and are now shown in Ford Sync 4 vehicle dashboard. Apple Maps also has this feature for years. Can Waze also bring this functionality helping to see in the dash or head up display so we can keep more focused on the road? It would be fantastic if Waze can be on the same level as other navigation apps.

Add road closures when not on a route
Android and Car Play do not let you mark road closures while driving. In large cities, WAZE is often inaccurate because of the number of event road closures that go unreported. Please add a feature to add road closures for non-drivers and off-route drivers in large cities.

Business Address Route to arrive on the right side of the street
For business address, hotels, commercial, etc. especially in busy downtown areas, please have the route always go around the block or whatever is necessary to arrive on the Right side of the street. For example dropping a passenger off in front of the building. Avoids having to do a mid-block u-turn or going around the block.

Integrate a bus and truck option
Add a bus option next to the already existing car, taxi and motorcycle option and let us adjust the weight, height, speed, width and length of the vehicle
Theres hardly any mainstream gps that has a function like this

Age limit on appstore
Please lower the age restriction on AppStore, to the same age it was a week ago (or maybe less)
Since you updated it to 17+, I can no longer use your app, due to the restrictions I put on my phone, to filter content.

Suggestion: Option to set alert distance for events on the route
Currently, alerts for speed cameras, police, and speed bumps are shown too close to the actual point. I would like to suggest that Waze allow users to configure the distance in advance for these alerts (for example: 500m, 1km, 2km).
Benefits:
More reaction time and safer speed adjustment.
Prevents sudden braking right on top of the radar or obstacle.
Improves user experience, especially on highways and fast roads.
This customization would be very useful for drivers, particularly on long-distance routes.

Especially when a STOP is added to the route, the navigation line is Green or blue!!

Actualmente, cuando los usuarios queremos señalar la presencia de autoridades, solo aparece la categoría de “policía”, pero en países como Colombia también existen los agentes de tránsito, que cumplen funciones distintas y cuya presencia es igualmente importante para los conductores.Considero que sería muy útil para la comunidad de Waze que se incluya una opción específica llamada “agente de tránsito”, de manera que los usuarios podamos diferenciar entre ambas autoridades. Esto no solo aportaría mayor precisión en la información compartida, sino que también fortalecería…

CarPlay voice reporting optional
Please make voice reporting optional in CarPlay. I’m seeing significantly less reporting since this feature was installed. Plus, I get an error every time press the button and it won’t let me use voice if I wanted to.

Please get rid of new “listening” landing page
Please get rid of the new “listening” landing page, in CarPlay, that you must click through to report an issue on the road. It’s annoying and unsafe because it adds yet another button press while driving and it pauses the audio you’re listening to.
