roundabout auto-creation
Roundabouts are built everyday nowadays and no aerial map can be up-to-date enough to reflect all of them. I propose that whenever 1 or several drivers describe a (full or not) circle with his vehicle, a roundabout gets automatically created. The number of drivers needed and the percentage of the circle which has to be described are up to you guys... =)

Samsung Wave (BADA Operating System)
Create a client application suitable for Samsung Wave (with the new BADA Operating System).
2 votesAt the moment this is not planned. The amount of work required makes it hard for us to currently plan support for this platform, though we do want to support as many platforms as possible in the future.

Navigate through alerts popups
There have been many times when I'm stopped and Waze is cycling through the different alerts that people have reported and I'll see the tail end of one and then it changes and I have no way to go back to see it again.
I would like to see a forward, backwards, and don't show this alert again option.

UserVoice are currently developing a uservoice plugin for the iPhone. It would be great to see this added to waze when it's finished.

geotagged photo's
Add a function to take geotagged photo's and show them on the map. This way you can take a picture of a street sign, and later enter the street name in cartouche without having to look it up on another map

Loading Status
I find that usually waze appears to load quite quickly, but will then freeze intermittently and loosing GPS lock whilst actually finishing 'loading' (Contacting server etc). It would be good it some form of message or progress bar could be shown so that it is obvious that it is still loading and not actually frozen

"Live animal near the road" hazard
I would like to suggest adding a new hazard reporting option in Waze: "Live animal near the road" (or a similar category).
At the moment, Waze allows users to report roadkill, but there is no dedicated option for reporting a live animal standing or moving near the roadside. I believe this would be a valuable addition for both road safety and wildlife protection.
Many serious accidents happen because drivers suddenly encounter animals that are about to cross the road. If other drivers received an early warning that a live animal had been spotted nearby, they could slow down, become more alert, and be prepared for unexpected movement. This could help prevent collisions, reduce injuries and fatalities involving both people and animals, and improve overall road safety.
Unlike reporting roadkill after a collision has already occurred, reporting a live animal creates an opportunity to prevent accidents before they happen. In many regions, especially rural areas, encounters with deer, moose, wild boar, elk, and other wildlife are common. A simple warning could make a meaningful difference.
I believe this would be a relatively small feature with the potential for a significant positive impact. It aligns perfectly with Waze's mission of helping drivers stay informed about real-time road hazards and making roads safer for everyone.
Thank you for considering this suggestion. I hope the team will consider adding this feature in a future update.

Waze is falling short for Motorcyclists and people who like to plan ahead! especially .gpx files
Waze is falling short for Motorcyclists and people who like to plan ahead!
Hi there,I've been riding on my motorcycle with Waze enabled for traffic information for a while now. I think I speak for every motorcyclist in the world when I say, that we don't like to stand still with a warm engine between our legs. Needless to say, we like to keep moving. Waze is great at navigating around traffic and keeping you up-to-date of where there are hazards. Because motorcyclists are more vulnerable than cars, I might even say it's more important for motorcyclists than for cars.
Waze added a feature for motorcyclists a few years back, however I don't see any change in navigation or routing. Waze keeps navigating me via boring long straight highways/express ways/motorways. Which might be great for getting from A to B in a quick way. But driving a motorcycle isn't always about going from A to B quickly. Most of the time you want to take scenic routes or implement fun stretches of road in your route. Hence why I've been using a different app for Navigation on my phone (Calimoto) and had Waze active in the background to give audible notifications of anything noteworthy.
But in all fairness, I would rather have one app for both functionalities. Especially some functionalities would also translate rather well to regular use with cars. So I would like to list some things that are in my opinion essential to having a good GPS app for motorcyclists.
Importing routes from .gpx files. (Alot of fun rides get shared amongst other motorcyclists via forums etc.)
Using a computer to plan ahead. (The browser doesn't allow the placement of waypoints)
Bendy road algorithm. (An algorithm that identifies good roads for motorcyclists, I urge you to open the Calimoto Trip Planner and search for Heiligenblut in Austria, another great example is north-west of Marbella in Spain.)A noteworthy thought I want to share with a developer who might bring this to a meeting one day hopefully.
Having more motorcyclists using Waze for navigation in backroads also provides more data of areas rarely travelled because of them being backroads. Data which can be used to further enhance the service Waze offers for all it's users.I didn't exactly know where to post this, hence why I've posted it in General Questions. Feel free to repost this message if you're a motorcyclist aswell and resonate with this sentiment. I hope the Waze developers read this and at least respond to my ideas.

Save preferred routes
I’d love the ability to save my preferred route to frequently visited destinations (such as work, home, or family). Waze often suggests the fastest route, but sometimes I prefer a slightly longer route because it’s easier to drive, has fewer traffic lights, avoids difficult junctions, or is simply more familiar.
It would be great to have a “Preferred Route” option where users can save one or more favourite routes for a destination.
