Vivo en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, en Argentina, y WAZE no reconoce la autopista 25 de mayo , entre la Avenida 9 de Julio y la Avenida General Paz. Por tal motivo, envía por otras rutas a la gente y les hace perder mucho tiempo. Además, si una persona circula por esa autopista 25 de mayo, WAZE se "marea" y "no entiende" la ruta. Eso pasa desde hace 3 o 4 meses. Antes funcinoaba bien.

   Hello, WAZE is working wrong for all the people. I live in Buenos Aires Citi, Argentina, and WAZE does not recognize "May 25th highway", located at Buenos Aires city, between 9th July Avenue and General Paz highway. For that reason, Waze is sending to the people by other routes, and make them waste lost of times. Besides, if a person is over 25th May highroad, WAZE looses itself and does not recognize where the car is located. This is happening since 3 or 4 months ago.

3. WazePro

   A personal vision for Waze+

   Given that Waze is in a tension with Google Maps and there is a new CEO with a background in tourism I have compiled a few thoughts.

   Let me start out with some tentative abstract differentiators:
   Google Maps is for drivers, Waze+ is for all others (too).
   Google Maps is about how to get there, Waze+ is more about why to get there.
   Google Maps is for the brain, Waze+ is for the soul.

   A.
   To begin with I would like to see Waze much more individualized and stylish.
   I’d like to express accurately which vehicle I am using, a red BMW 3, a Model S plaid or a KTM bike. A realistic avatar of myself can represent me on the map as a digital twin.
   I’d appreciate to let others know if am am a learner driver or an elderly person requiring increased attention. I could be a tramway, a relaxed Fiaker, a nervous equestrian or a busy shepherd, and so on. I might as well be a scooter, a wheelchair, a mom with a buggy or a guide dog.
   As collaborative citizens we are in this together.
   The necessary SW adjustments are pretty trivial.

   Note: There is an extraordinary economic phenomenon here:
   A public good - safety - emerges from nudging users into a “free” private garden.

   I miss the state of traffic lights and their time till change.
   It would be great to see emergency vehicles with their blue light mirrored in real-time.
   I want a complete cyber-physical correspondence of the traffic system.
   I’d even go into the third dimension and include paragliders etc.

   B.
   I want to sketch two possible features that strengthen interactions in the community:
   “Let me see!”
   On the map I notice a Wazer in a presumably attractive location and wonder what it really looks like there. I send a request over and - Wazers are nice - get a live photo in return (costing subtleties TBD).
   If that location offers tourist services a booking opportunity may just be a click away.

   “Ride with me!”
   If I am about to experience an exciting event, say a rollercoaster ride, I can invite others to join me along in a shared short video (probably VR in the future).
   Again, if this is a professional entertainment offer then getting a ticket may just be a click away.

   In both cases this is an expandable mutual service combined with a business opportunity; privacy aspects are solvable.

   C.
   All smart cars, Teslas first, shall become automatic Wazers.
   That is to say that if they recognize a spontaneous danger such as a deer crossing the street, they shall send out this observation to an open database and share it with other drivers. Some benevolent central artificial intelligence can derive an up-to-date risk map depending on time of day and year and weather in a better way than any public administration can ever achieve it.

   Some of these suggestions may already have been discussed or tried, I don’t know.
   What I feel to be important is a clear mission and the confidence to create a better future, where community and advanced technology fuse for surprising, joyful journeys.

4. Third lane

   It would be very useful if it showed on the map when there is a third track. It could help mitigate road accidents, as it is in the third lane that most cars overtake other vehicles, and knowing when there will be one would help a lot.

5. Traffic Simulation For Wazers To Work Together To Improve Traffic

   Make a simulation to see what traffic would be like if either everybody abided by the laws OR people worked together to go a "Waze assisted" speed to improve traffic flow for others (for instance, speed up or slow down according to upcoming traffic information to help maintain traffic flow together). It could also tell you how many people/wazers you would affect, positively, from the actions you take.

8. I would like to see a 'MyWaze' option for searches.

   I typically look for only 2 or 3 three things on my route (Panera, diner, etc). It would be helpful if a user could pre-define certain searches and quickly choose those rather than re-typing them.

10. Bonjour. Eviter les traversées dangereuses de lotissements

    Je travaille pour la Ville de Lège-Cap Ferret en Gironde. Nous connaissons des embouteillages importants en saison estivale. Beaucoup d'utilisateurs de Waze utilisent des itinéraires alternatifs qui traversent des lotissements, pour gagner 1 ou 2 minutes sur l'axe principal. Ces traversées sont dangereuses : les lotissements sont limités à 30 km, les voiries ne sont pas adaptées pour des passages fréquents et à grande vitesse, les riverains sont très inquiets et excédés. Quelles solutions Waze peut-il proposer aux villes pour traiter ces situations sources de dangers et de conflits d'usage ? Peut-on restreindre l'accès à ces itinéraires pour la sécurité de nos concitoyens, de manière durable ou ponctuelle?
    Nous sommes conscients de n'être pas les seuls dans cette situation et serions heureux de pouvoir échanger avec vous sur ce sujet.

    Kindly add in carpark parking rates if possible. Currently the function to view possible nearby parking areas/lots is very useful but it'll be a plus if charging rates are included.

15. Fuel stations suggestion based on the estimated mileage from fuel gauge

    We are on a road trip. Most modern cars have a miles until empty feature. When you fill up your car the estimated mileage until empty is display on the dash. It would be beneficial to have Waze show you nearest gas stations to that mileage so that you have let’s say a 50 mile warning that you need gas and these are the stations near that limit. I had a very close call to running out. And started to panic because a highway split didn’t have a gas station as I thought it would on my way out of Nevada. Hope that makes sense. :-)
