Implement user-configurable delay (in increments of 0.1 sec) for voice alerts
Some vehicle Bluetooth implementations have lengthy handshaking which prevents the first second or two of Waze voice alerts from actually being heard. My car has a feature that ramps up the volume of a Bluetooth phone incrementally on first connection. However, the impact is that in most driving situations, the first two seconds are simply too quiet to be heard!
For example, instead of "In 500 metres, turn right onto Main Street.", all you hear is ".. to Main Street". Obviously, this information is unclear and confusing, forcing the driver to glance at the map on the phone to verify…

Police location
If you pass a speed cop sitting somewhere and immediately after you pass them you reach for your phone to update Waze, you could potentially get a ticket because they have a tendency to look into the cars as they pass and after they pass. My suggestion is to make it so whenever you push the police button? It actually puts the police 1/4 Mile behind where you push the button

Typing suggestion bar
It is so annoying when using the new system when you’re typing in an address and suggestions come up in between the numbers and the letters keyboards! Please put the suggestion above the numeric keyboard so that the keyboard doesn’t jump up and down like a lunatic. Many thanks

enable upload and sharable "favorites" or "waypoints"
I'm a Member of a Volunteer Search and Rescue team. In the past we were able to share pre-staged "rally Points" by loading a Garmin GPX file in various GPS devices. I would like to import these "favorites" into my Waze profile and share it with others on our team.
This could also benefit others who want to migrate from a Garmin or Tom Tom Device and not share their points, as well as other organizations who have pre-planned assembly areas.

Can you make it so that the navigating voice has a rude/profane setting?
I think it would be quite funny if the Waze navigator had more personality. If I miss a turn, let it scold me. I want it to cuss at me and make fun of my driving. I would never stop laughing. PLEASE make this happen.

Delay points until someone confirms police
I’m in Sydney Australia and have noticed lately that when wagers have marked police ahead, even if it’s only been marked 2 or 3 minutes beforehand there is no police to be seen. Instead of awarding points straight away, maybe points can be awarded when someone confirms the police are there and they get points based on people confirming police ahead. I’m finding lately that people are marking police and even cars on the side of the road just to up their waze points. I can’t see any reason why they are marking it when there is nothing there. Even…

Bicycle roof racks warning
Add a warning when approaching places such as your home garage to avoid crashing bicycles on roof rack.
The problem is when you are transporting your bikes on your roof rack you sometimes forget they are there.
Maybe Waze users could add places where there is height limitations.

Add warnings for PCN camera traps (mainly London)
Like speed cameras, add PCN cameras (Moving Traffic Cameras) to Waze warnings please!!
Over lockdown there've been several strange changes made to how traffic is allowed to use certain roads in London.
Camera traps have sprung up all over the place to catch people out. These cameras give fines for using roads in ways which used to be totally acceptable before lockdown. Waze - Plan my day route scheduling
A great addition to the Waze App would be to have it plan my entire day or something as simple as errands. Start by entering a start time and a list of addresses to visit (e.g. drop-off kids, grocery store, and other errands....getting me back home in time to pick-up the kids at school at the end of the school day), Waze could optimize my route and schedule based on traffic and ETA. Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year. We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted.

Carplay settings
It would be nice to have access to the waze settings though apple carplay so that I can turn toll roads or other features on and off quickly as opposed to having use the phone app. Google already has this but I prefer using Waze so please work on this.

Be able to actively switch Toll roads on or off in Apple CarPlay app.
Hi,
Like Google Maps in Australia, within Apple CarPlay, you are able to navigate to a settings page, where you can turn on or off a host of functions.
One of which, is a toggle to avoid Toll Roads.
This feature would be very handy, as its the only thing stopping me from using the application as my main map system.

Option to add adjustable location to report issues
Waze only allows us to add a report (car accident or police or construction etc) only to the location that the GPS shows currently but there must be a new feature to pin point in the Map and report the issue.
For example: I saw a really bad crash from my balcony in the highway but since I was not physically there in the location i was giving the option to report in the home location but I could not report in the exact location in the highway that I can see from my balcony which is 600 meters away…4 votes -
Option to turn off automatic restarting of route
How can I stop the app from automatically routing me from my current location to somewhere else that I am looking at for future reference?!? Trying to use the app with SpotHero to find parking in Philly where I will be moving to soon and keep getting routed from my current location to Philly 😭

Registration plate recognition and automatic tagging of police vehicles
Due to the proliferation of unmarked police cars and unmarked mobile speed cameras (parked cars) with no warning signs, it is now necessary to take it one step further and use the video feed from dash cams (both front and rear) and character recognition to automatically tag a police vehicle by its registration plate (after that registration plate has been manually tagged). If a user is travelling with that vehicle, the vehicle's location would be updated live. Once that user breaks away from the police vehicle, the location would then be picked up and updated live by other Waze users…

לאחרונה סיימתי קורס מגיש עזרה ראשונה במד"א, בו נאמר לנו שדבר ראשון כשיש ארוע ומתקשרים למדא יש לתאר במדוייק איפה אנחנו נמצאים. מאחר ולא תמיד אנחנו יודעים במדוייק את המיקום או שאנחנו כבר באמצע להגיש עזרה ראשונה, חשבתי שמאוד יעזור אם יהיה פיצ'ר בווייז שממנו אפשר יהיה לחייג באופן ישיר למד"א ושם יקבלו את המיקום המדוייק שלנו.
