   It'd be good to be able to drop a pin at current location and give it a name and add it to favorites. The current method of having to do addresses or POI searches is not always workable--especially on small form-factor devices.

4. Weather overlay

   I would love to have a real time weather overlay on the WAZE maps. This would be a GREAT feature to add to aid in knowing more about driving conditions. Please vote and let's see what we can do to make it happen.

5. Plane/Aircraft overheard notification..for Fun

   Add a new notification: "Plane/Aircraft" overheard/visible at lowish altitude with details of type, airline etc. Just for fun! Answer that question "what's that plane I can see" when driving under flightpaths in cities.

   Work with flightradar or planefinder to get the data feed that you need to support this.

   Could also do this for ships, working with Marinetraffic/shipfinder

7. Allow swipe to close notifications.

   When a notification appears on the Waze client, there's an "X" on the top-right corner to close it. The close button also has an auto-timer, which is fine.

   However, while driving it is hard to tap the exact location of the "X" and often i tap on another nearby portion of the screen, which only causes the display to change. And waiting for the timer is not always practical (i only need 3-5 seconds to read a notification, not up to 15 seconds!).

   So instead (or additionally)... why not have the notifications close by simply swiping them off the screen? Swiping effectively turns the entire notification message into a giant "X" rather than peck-and-hunt (and take my eyes off the road) trying to hit the tiny "X" button. And by swiping, i wont have to wait the eternally-long timers before the notifications auto-close. Thanks!

10. add option to disable traffic based routing

    When routing, waze often attempts to route around traffic. Waze is used occasionally for just the first part of a journey (navigating a downtown area, for example) and I find it selecting a completely different route every time I use it because it attempts to route around the traffic at work.

    Another example is that during extremely heavy traffic in a snowstorm, waze had me exiting at every freeway exit and then entering the freeway again, simply because the freeway exits had little traffic on them compared to the freeway itself.

    Because of this, there should be a simpler routing option in waze that completely disregards traffic and only routes based on a simple, repeatable path to a destination.

    Furthermore, this path should only include posted speed limits, and should route a path regardless of if it is the opposite direction from the destination.

    Often, there are simpler/better ways to get to a central location if you "overshoot" and then backtrack (given the US road system).

11. Smartwatch support: Would love to be able to get alerts such as police by my watch vibrating, so I don't miss any alerts.

14. Help clients to recover lost points

    Good afternoon. Use your wonderful product daily for over almost three years now. 12 year-old son downloaded app for me. Accumulated around 175,000 points, when a young nephew erased it from my phone.

    How can I recover points when initial download listed my phone number instead of an email? Nothing has changed whatsoever with my account but informed that I simply have to open a new account and eat over two years of voluntary support to my fellow Wazers!!

    Account was HazyMcLar under Larry Hay at phone number 4167954830. Was not able to open new account under same name. New account is HazyMcLar23 at phone number 4167954830 at email address lhay@hayven.co.uk.

    It seems highly unfair that my points, legitimately earned over many months of voluntary contribution, that my points are so easily dismissed and ignored by your support department.

    Isn't your fundamental business model and service dependent upon participants voluntary information sharing? I also fill out every business survey that crosses my screen. However, because I feel so disrespected by your support department it is very difficult to be motivated to enter information on my new anemic account.

    Someone please respect my years of contribution by adding the points from my previous now dormant HazyMcLar account to my newer HazyMcLar23 account?

15. It would be nice if the option existed to have seconds displayed on the clock.

    It would be nice if the option existed to display seconds on the clock. The way I use the app and running a route I need to record the time. If it isbefore 30 seconds after the minute we have to mark it back. If after 30 seconds then we mark the next minute as the arrival time. If this possible?

18. New iPhone X UI

    UI on iPhone X needs to be optimized so far.
    Important information are partially or totally masked.
    In landscape mode : car cursor partialy masked
    In portrait mode : road names are masked and mask roads itselves.
    Spotify button is a the left side now : why ?!
    Anyway, I can't take the the road without Waze :)
