"I'm in a parking garage" button to delay route recalculation and map out garages
An "I'm in a parking garage" button would allow you to:
1) Delay route recalculation until the car had actually started on the route (10 meters along actual street or so)
2) Map out existing parking garages for feedback to navigation
Because fiddling with your phone while driving is illegal in Austin, I prefer to set the route and be done with it before I start driving. Driving in circles around the garage means I typically have to do it afterward if I don't want recalculation to squelch my chosen route (non-toll vs toll for instance).

Multiple selections on prefered fuel/gas/petrol stations
It is now possible to select all or just one as preferred fuel/gas/petrol station.
I would suggest a selection list where you can select multiple preferred gas/petrol stations in your settings/fuels list depending on your own choice or preference100 votesThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Bonjour,
En raison des récents événements tragiques qui touchent la France et nous heurtent profondément, l'Etat d'Urgence a été décrété par le Gouvernement, ce qui signifie que durant n'importe quel contrôle routier, les véhicules ainsi que ses occupants peuvent être fouillés.
Il serait nécessaire voire primordial de bloquer la possibilité de signaler les zones de contrôles routiers et barrages de polices aux utilisateurs afin de ne pas permettre aux personnes ayant un lien avec ces actes de barbaries sans nom, d'être au courant de ces actions coordonnées et rendre facile la découverte de personnes impliquées de près ou de loin…2 votes -
Make the police position unavailable during terrorist attack
Hello,
I suggest that waze suppress the police position in case of terrorist attack. Indeed, I am French and was in Paris last Friday 13th of November. On Saturday morning I went in the north when saw a suspicious car with black window that was going very fast and was dangerous for other cars. It may be the 8th terrorist that the police didn't caught yet. I saw this car leaving the main road just before the police could have arrest this car. Add favorites from desktop Mac/PC.
Add Desktop access. I find a route on my desktop, I have to send myself a text to add it to Waze. It would be nice if I could access my Waze client so I could both add favorites and manage current addresses on my desktop where I have a full keyboard.

Make it so that I can just see a map with my entire route to work with traffic issues, police, etc shown.
Why should the default be turn by turn to work? That actually doesn't make sense. If I tap on work, I should see the complete map to see what traffic looks like, not some voice telling me how to navigate a drive I have done most days for 10 years. This is in fact so obvious that I can't believe that's not the way it is already. If you do that one thing, I will start using the app every day, and it will be wonderful. For now I guess I will keep using google maps every day.

When "Lock North up" is set in settings, the car is too low on the screen and it's hard to see things when turns take you below the screen
When "Lock North up" is set in settings, the car is too low on the screen and it's hard to see things when turns take you below the screen. So when heading east and a south turn is coming, you can barely see what's next. Would be great to have the car closer to the center of the screen.

I don't like the new waze. Can't stop navigation after it starts.
I don't like the NEW Waze. Can't stop navigation once it starts unless I close the app completely. Make it bigger on the iphone so I can leave my phone on the dash while driving.

Be a car standard
Volkswagen (in 2015) is known to build a good drivetrain and a safe car, but their electronics has been behind the times. Can Waze become their navigation standard? VW would not need to employ so many people in a marginally profitable area (at best) and clients get updates for years to come.

Gas stations
The gas price section is a nice idea, but when I tried to enter prices from a location, I was not interested in choosing a favorite brand (I dislike all oil companies in general). More appropriate would be the fuel type: unleaded regular, diesel, non-oxigenated, whatever (my favorite). Maybe partnering with Gas Buddy would be a good idea.

Ponto de encontro sugerido
As pessoas goatam de viajar juntas bem por isso compartilhamos rotas mas não partem do mesmo ponto tendo que se encontrar em algum lugar comum à rota.
O que sugiro é que o Waze analize o mwlhor local comum aos que estão compartilhando o mesmo destino e quw ele sugira pontos de encontro seguro aoa viajantes

map rotation
I noticed, when you make a turn, the map does not rotate with the turn, can this be fixed in the next update?

Navigation screen for Routes has a problem
On Portrait screen, I may have 3 alternate routes that all appear the same.....

Waze should verify that the 3 "cut to fit" texts are not identical. If they ARE identical, Waze should abbreviate the hell out of them.
Sure, landscape clarifies things, but it's a pain to swap.
