Remove work button for retired folks who were traumatized by their employer
Would like the option to permanently remove the “work” button. I havealready deleted the address but the button remains to taunt me. I retired early because it was a very toxic environment..so I don’t want to even ‘see’ the button. Remove or have option to rename it

Feature: Predictive Speed Regulation to Prevent Phantom Traffic Jams
Problem:
When one vehicle hard-brakes on a highway, it creates a backward-traveling shockwave. Due to human reaction times, vehicles behind brake even harder — causing a dead-stop jam with no actual obstruction. These "phantom jams" cause thousands of rear-end collisions yearly.
Proposed Solution:
Waze already collects real-time GPS telemetry from millions of drivers. If the system detects a sudden velocity drop, it could instantly push a "Reduce speed to 60 km/h" advisory to drivers further back — absorbing the shockwave before it cascades.

In-app segment appearance for Unpaved / Pedestrian segments
As of now, different segment types almost all look identical in Waze. Offroad / unmaintained already have has its own look, so it would seem logical to get a visual differentiation for pedestrian segments and unpaved roads.
- Unpaved roads could get a "speckled" or '"hashed" look (https://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59223-waze-suggestion-box/suggestions/46149703-show-unpaved-roads-differently-in-app).
- Pedestrian segments could look just like on the live map.

כפתור לשעת חירום זה טוב, עכשיו תסנכרנו את זה עם מערכת ההתרעות של פיקוד העורף ושיופיעו המקלטים הקרובים לבד ברגע שיש התרעה באזור בו נמצא הנהג, כי לגעת בטלפון בזמן נהיגה + לחץ של אזעקה זה מאוד מסוכן

button cancel route stopped working
After last update while running on Android Auto, button cancel route(in left bottom corner, button with cross and remaining time) stopped working, even though I see it is pressed - UI item changes the color when pressed. Button worked fine before with the same car and the same phone. It looks like it is pressed - there is visual feedback, but nothing happens.

Night-Safe Routing
Hello Waze Team,
I would like to suggest adding a “Night-Safe Routing” option in Waze. This feature would allow users to choose routes that are safer and more comfortable when driving at night.
At night, some roads may be poorly lit, isolated, or less frequently used, which can make drivers feel unsafe or less confident, especially in unfamiliar areas. Current routing primarily focuses on travel time and traffic conditions, but does not account for nighttime safety factors.

Proactive Fuel Station Suggestion
Dear Waze Team,
I would like to suggest adding a feature that proactively recommends nearby gas stations after the user has traveled a certain distance, which can be set by the user.
During long trips, drivers may not always keep track of their fuel level or may forget to refuel in time. This can lead to inconvenient or even risky situations, especially when traveling through areas with limited fuel station availability.

Road Surface Hazard (Partial or Full Road Flagging)
Dear Waze Team,
I would like to suggest enhancing the hazard reporting feature by allowing users to flag either a portion or an entire road as having poor surface conditions (e.g., full of potholes or severe degradation), instead of reporting only individual potholes.
In many areas, road damage is not limited to a single spot but affects continuous segments or even the whole road. Reporting individual potholes in these situations does not accurately reflect the overall driving experience and may underestimate the level of discomfort or risk.

El año pasado paso lo mismo y duro 7 días , pero está vez va más tiempo , hice el reporte y la respuesta fue que lo desactivaron que escriba acá a ver si en la próxima actualización lo resuelven ..... La gente está descargando APK con versiones antiguas de sitios de dudosa procedencia para poder escribir y leer las alertas .... Señores por favor esto se necesita urgentemente

Report Pavement Marking conditions
Allow users to report whether the road pavement marking lines are faded, missing, or incorrect. This is especially important at night. Ideally this would also send an aggregated report to the city, county, or state to fix it!

Im Behind a cop Button
Right now, you can report stationary cops, but you can't report a cop that is actively traveling down the highway. What if Waze had an "'i'm behind a cop" button?
Pressing it would bring up a persistent button on your screen. While it's active, Waze uses your location to display a moving cop icon on the map for other drivers. Once you turn off or are no longer behind them, you just tap cancel to end the tracking. It keeps the map updated in real-time without having to constantly drop new pins.2 votes -

Merge 2 of the same address on waze map
So when you search sometimes it will show 2 of the same address 1 from waze and other from Google but what if they were merged. The only issue would be sometimes Google is wrong so the address will need to be checked.

In dual screen mode show in main screen the whole route, not just mirror current view
In dual screen mode (main screen and small screen above steering wheel) show on main screen the whole journey from current position to the destination (the same as Google Maps do). Right now main screen only mirror small view in a different scale.

Fuel Cost Estimation in Route Comparison
Hello,
I would like to suggest adding an estimated fuel cost indicator to route options, similar to how CO₂ emissions are currently displayed.
Why this would be valuable:
• Drivers naturally compare time vs cost when choosing a route.
• While CO₂ information is useful, fuel cost is often a more actionable decision factor for everyday users.
• Having this directly inside Waze would avoid the need to use third-party apps for cost estimation.Proposed implementation (simple & non-intrusive):
