Critical next turn alert
The Problem
Many users disable or tune out standard turn-by-turn voice navigation because it can feel repetitive or intrusive during routine parts of a drive. However, missing a specific "critical" exit - especially on highways or in rural areas - can lead to massive detours, often adding 10–20 minutes to a trip.
The Solution: Critical Turn Alerts
A smart notification system that triggers only when missing the upcoming turn would result in a significant delay. This allows users to enjoy a quieter drive while ensuring they are alerted before a "point of no return."

Add a “Share Suggestion” Button for Easier Voting
A dedicated “Share This Suggestion” or “Share Your Vote” button on idea pages would make the Waze feedback community much more engaging and effective.
At the moment, it’s quite difficult to share a suggestion with friends, family or other Waze users because the post links are not very obvious or easy to access from the search/results page.
A simple share button could:
- Increase community engagement
- Help useful ideas gain visibility faster
- Encourage more voting and discussion
- Make it easier for users to support features they genuinely want
This would especially help popular suggestions gain traction naturally through social sharing, WhatsApp…

Custom route
Hello Waze team,
I would love to see an improved custom route planning feature in Waze.
Right now Waze is excellent for traffic and live navigation, but it is difficult to plan scenic or motorcycle routes with multiple waypoints.
Suggested improvements:
* Ability to add many waypoints/stops in one route
* Circular / round-trip route planning
* Option to “lock” selected roads so Waze does not automatically reroute
* Scenic / curvy roads mode for leisure driving and motorcycles
* Easier drag-and-adjust route editing
Many motorcycle riders and weekend drivers would benefit from this.

Keep or buy voices that used to be on the app an an option
Can we please have the option keep the voices, or have the option to buy them if you want to rotate the options. I am so late to this party

Report menu reorganization and favorites
It currently takes several taps to report things. Example: Report button-> Hazard -> Vehicle on the side of the road (-> submit report). My gut feeling is that is my most commonly used report, and I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case for others also.
Also with any report menu rearrangements/removals it becomes nearly impossible to find ones you use less frequently when you actually need them. Say "animals in the area" for example.
Being able to personalize the report menu order or set some as favorites would fix this problem.

We need to ba able ti switch off street name on the view because street name block the view and it is some time dangerous. o
Street name on the map blocks the view of street and this is also dangerous. Waze shall be updated in order to permit to switch off streetname on the map in Android auto. Best regards

Be able to design your own vehicle icon - or be able to go to a seperate folder underneath the developers options and click custom design or pick from other users designs they’ve made.

Allow Traffic Events to include lane closures
When creating Major Traffic Events such as construction, sporting events, or races, we can close roads as part of the closure. The introduction of polygons showing impacted areas is fantastic, but it'd also be helpful if we could pre-populate lane closures. For example, often a single lane might be closed for runners and being able to include that in the MTE would be beneficial.

Color Coded Parking Icons
Color coded parking icons! Would be super interesting and helpful to take satellite imagery and user reports to code the "P" icon in green for lots of open spaces, yellow for minimal open spaces, and red for no open spaces. This would be easier for garages where users could specifically report it based on info screens.

Waze should stop when CarPlay ends
For some reason the Waze app and the current route navigation does not stop when CarPlay has stopped and the car is off. It resumes on the phone and is quite annoying. Both Apple Maps and Google Maps correctly terminate the navigation once the car is turned off.

New 2026 version uses 1.5 km for instructions instead of 1 km
The new Waze version (got it early 2026) uses a distance of 1.5 kilometer instead of 1 kilometer for navigation instructions. It makes no sense to use fractions and it's distracting. Either change back to 1 kilometer or add an option to change this.

Waze Level Update
Update Waze level and points , currently we only have 5 waze level, and alot of people already got the waze royalty. it is probably a good time to update the waze level to incentives people to use waze more often
i suggest making a 10 waze level consisting of 1.Waze Baby 2.Waze Teen 3.Waze Grown Up 4.Waze Warrior 5.Waze Soldier 6.Waze Knight 7.Waze Captain 8.Waze Hero 9.Waze Royalty 10.Waze King (with a crown and king robe)
