BUG: Knob controls selection box skips around
My Mazda interacts with Android Auto via control selector knob rather than touch screen. When an alert pops up for police, it gives two options to pick from: not there or still there when I rotate my control knob to move the highlighted selection box over to one of those options, the system will automatically jump the selection box back to the default position up top before I can even make a choice. Please fix so the selection box stays where the user moves it to. It times out almost instantly.

Revert user interface android auto
New interface is unusable on non touch screen interfaces. There should be an option to change back. The left menu now obscures half the map, making it harder to see where you're going. Confirming obstructions is now impossible with a scroll wheel, as you scroll along the options by the time you notice the button is highlighted its skipped to the next button but you are then unable to reverse the scroll back to the option, you have to scroll forward through everything again. Trying to access the menus or report obstructions is also pretty impossible with the new interface…

Black buttons on Black backgrounds are terrible
Your recent Android Auto updates have been horrendous. Instead of having colorful, vibrant, easily identifiable buttons, everything is now pure black with headache-inducing white text. Black buttons overlay black menus, and the driver cannot distinguish between any of the controls without taking their eyes off the road for long periods. Controls are scattered around the screen in tiny black dots like a spilled bag of marbles. Waze is now a dangerous app to use. Bring back color!! Bring back black text on light backgrounds!! Bring back menu bars!! Or at the very least, let the user CHOOSE to have the…

If no route chosen, hide previous drives menu so i can see the map.
There is a menu of previous drives that pops up when Android Auto (using Waze) starts up. If I don't choose a destination on that menu (or, create a new destination) after I'm underway please minimize the previous drive destinations so I can see the map. This drive I don't need guidance, but would still like to see the map. Thanks

Desde la ultima actualiacion la aplicacion se cuelga constantemente. Entre otras cosas no avisa mas si pasas la velocidad permitida.

After updating to 4.94.0.3 Waze is very difficult to navigate in Android Auto with a rotary knob (non-touch screen).
When using a car without a touch screen, it is extremely difficult to navigate the new interface. For example, the Cursor used to default to the "Pin" icon while in navigation. This was great because it allows you to quickly report Hazards and Police.
Now after the update, it defaults to the "Magnifying Glass" icon. This means you have to scroll past SEVEN, yes... 7, other icons to get the to "Pin" to report a hazard. I tried moving the cursor to the "Pin" Icon and leaving it there, but after a few seconds it defaults back to the Search…

Joystick map navigation is difficult to use on CoolWalk update
After the Coolwalk update, you introduced a new feature so we can navigate on the map using car controls. When using this feature with the car joystick (Mazda), isn't smooth, it's too laggy and difficult to use, making this awesome feature useless. Please see how Google Maps handles this. That works perfectly.

Ultima actualización va muy mal.
Ya no es posible iniciar una nueva ruta cuando el teléfono y el auto están conectados. No permite buscar un destino nuevo: tanto el teclado como el comando de voz no funcionan.
¿De qué sirve una app para conducir a la que no se le puede indicar un destino?

New UX in Android Auto is terrible
April 2023 changes to the UX are terrible.
- More complicated, and needs more clicks to get anywhere
- Initial suggestions don't include Work or Home, requiring extra fiddling to select them.
- Many more clicks to get to routine things like reporting traffic.
- There/Not There options for hazards are virtually unusable - it constantly pulls focus back to the search icon.
Also sometimes get nothing other than "Welcome to Waze" on the main part of the screen.

Roll back to last usable version (fixing voice command and display issues)
The recent update added the gimmicky split-screen feature at the expense of everything that made the app usable. Until you can fix the following, please roll back to the last non-coolwalk version:
• Google Assistant voice commands do not work
• Speed limit is too small to see
• "Time Remaining in drive" is missingI would also like you to rethink the decision of replacing all the icons with ugly little black pills, but that isn't really a technical problem in need of a fix.

Settings Menu while connected to Android Auto
Give a settings menu while connected to android auto.
Allow us to be able to turn stuff on or off like the speedometer.
Also give us the abilty to either move icons to the left side of the map, or make them smaller3 votes -

Shut down when disconnected from Android Auto
Needs to have the option to shut down when I disconnect from Android Auto. I shouldn't have to shut down when I leave my car.

Android auto - Traffic bar - Traject controle - Traction control on the highway
Hi,
I miss the traction control on the highway, Traject controle in Dutch, before you enter it, it shows it but doesn't show the bar on the left side such as like on the phone.
I miss the left bar where the start is of the traject controle.

Be able to interface from your phone like Apple iPhone
I really like your app and use it every day. My frustration is that I use a Samsung Android smart phone (I am not a fan of Apple iPhone's). Apple play works very well with your app. You can control your app from the phone or the car interface (basically the car mirrors the phone). With Android play you can't control the app or view the app from your phone. All interfaces have to be on the car not the phone. Secondly if you use the app now on the car navigation screen (as I said) you can only control…

Voice Input and HOV Options in Android Auto
Allow for voice input (for stops/searches) while driving and give options for HOV travel while in Android Auto. Having to pull over while on a freeway to add a stop if it is not within your most recent stops is really frustrating and dangerous.

Old notifications won't go away
Old notifications wont go away after passing them. Newer notifications won't show because the old is still in the screen. Sometimes the same speed camera alert can be on the screen for miles.

Android auto screen
We let you know an potential error. After the latest versions, when you are navigating with android auto and you click on phone to navigate with Waze, there is a new advisory screen that says to look at android auto car screen to follow the navigation. This screen may be temporary, because when you are professional driver using another app, and you need this another main app for continue working, you have been blocked by this advisory screen, and you need to close and restart the apps on your phone.
