Remove top directions banner
The black director banner on the top of the app is occupying waay to much screen space.
Today I noticed that the black directions banner bar larger than the actual map itself.
Please let us choose if we want the black directions banner on top or to remove it.
It's way useful to see the road ahead on the map instead of "50m until a right turn".
I'm using a galaxy s25 ultra and I still can't see the full map.

Speed cameras visual
I would like to provide feedback regarding the recent changes to speed camera alerts in Waze.
The previous speed camera warning system was much better and easier to see while driving. The blue progress bar provided a clear visual indication that a speed camera was ahead and remained visible as you approached and passed it.
The new circular camera indicator is much less noticeable and is harder to see at a glance. It requires more attention to the screen than the previous design, which defeats the purpose of having a clear and safe warning system.

Head up display
Dear Waze Team,
Please add Head-Up Display (HUD) support for Waze navigation in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Many modern vehicles, including the new Toyota RAV4 2026, are equipped with advanced HUD systems that can display navigation instructions directly on the windshield. It would be extremely useful and safer if Waze could show upcoming turns, lane guidance, distance to the next maneuver, and other navigation information on the HUD.
Waze is my preferred navigation app, and HUD integration would greatly improve the driving experience and help drivers keep their eyes on the road.

De esta forma… No hay que estar mirando el teléfono para conocer la velocidad… Y se puede seguir prestando atención al manejo y al tacómetro del vehículo.

Notifications for Update requests
Rather than send an email to the editor when a Update Request (UR) gets a new reply, the editor gets a notification rigth there on the WME (social media style). This will be more faster, and easy to reply UR's. Once you click on the notification, It will take directly to the UR location.

Upgrade possible vehicle selection
By upgrading the possibility to select heavy vehicles like trucks and buses where the driver can add the width, the height, and the length of the vehicle as well as the axel pressure and the total weight of the vehicle. The app would rapidly become the most popular app for professional drivers. The map data is already available. And the professional drivers always report anything out of the ordinary, hence helping other drivers in a larger capacity than most private drivers.

Aadd electric as option on fuel type
I have an electric car.
My current fuel options on the app are Petrol, Diesel and E95.
Can please Electric to the fuel options.(while you're at it mightt as well add Hybrid PHEV).
It makes no sense to select petrol when you're Electric and there are specific areas and routes exlusive for non poluters and route suggestions should have it in consideration1 vote -

poder agregar fijo en el mapa los resaltó en las vías o como se conocen policías muertos. Tambien Puentes y escuelas así no maltrata el carr
Permitir dejar alertas fijas de resaltos o mejor conocido como policías muertos o acostados. La mayoría no están señalizados y maltratamos el vehículo al pasar. Igualmente dejar fijo los puentes viales y las escuelas. Debido que debemos bajar la velocidad pero tambien cuidar los vehiculo.

Blank map in Apple CarPlay. Software Fix or Refresh Button
Bug: Blank map in Apple CarPlay.
Need a Software Fix or add a Refresh Button to reload the map view/data as a workaround
Based on internet search the issue appears to be plaguing Waze worldwide. Alternates like Apple and Google maps do not suffer from this issue.

Direct Waze Map access while using Android Auto, please bring back
When launching Waze now while connected to Android Auto you CANNOT directly access the waze map on your device only on vehicle Android Auto screen. ADDITIONALLY You are required to enter a destination and then they appear on the device. I ONLY want to use the WAZE MAP on my device while connected to Android Auto. Please bring this back as was this way for years! I like to use Waze on my Android device and then use Google Maps on my vehicles screen. Simple.
