    I have recently switched from Garmin to Waze.
    It is clear that Waze kicks Garmin's butt.
    Two suggestions though:

    1) One thing I used Garmin a lot for was to tell me the current speed limit. It has it in very legible text that I can take a quick glance at to see. Unfortunately, the text on the waze app is too small for me to easily see with a quick glance. Ideally, this text should be enlarged.

    2) I am admittedly used to Garmin's voice timing, but the waze timing for turns was a problem for me. It seems…

  3. Show Congestion/ULEZ zone and tell Waze what car you have

    It would be super useful to have the ULEZ/Congestion Charge zones both highlighted in the Waze map. It would be amazing if you could actually make them both different coloured areas with different coloured roads too!
    Secondly it would be amazing to be able to tell Waze what car you’re driving and Waze could take that into consideration when planning your route. Several times I’ve been rerouted towards the Rotherhite tunnel which is a 2tonne limit and my car is just over two tonnes so I’d get a fine.

  6. Take into account big rugby and football games

    Altogether a really good app. I think that taking into account big games for rugby and football which normally occur on Saturday and Sunday afternoons that would be really good as it doesn’t currently show traffic that I know will come because of these events. I appreciate this is hard to do but thank you

    Display a list of rest area / service stations along the route. Something similar to what is available in Google maps.

    Where I am, and I'm sure many others, there are school and park zones that have different speeds for certain hours. It would be nice to have the ability to have speed zones that change according to the times.

    I'm a traffic flagger for a utility company. When I need to close a road, i can't do it unless I'm at the nearest intersection. How do I do this without being at that intersection, which may be a long distance from my work site.
    Also, how can I open a road I've closed? Seems the next wazer has to open it; that's mot fair to other drivers. How can I open a road ive closed?

  13. Provide translation of ideas and comments on this site into the visitor's language, or at least into English.

    Provide an easy method for identifying errors and making suggestions on the Waze Map Editor site. Currently, it is difficult/impossible to do either.

    Hello Waze!

    I wanted to ask what the plan is for the Waze points we're all collecting. I can't even seem to find what my current total points are.
    Here's some suggestions:

    Create a Dashboard view for each user showing:
    ○ Total points from reports.
    ○ Total points from confirmations.
    ○ Total points overall.
    ○ Total for each report/confirmation type.
    ○ Total number of confirmations your reports have received.
    ○ Total # of states you've reported from.
    Offer Waze swag as rewards for point levels reached like t-shirts, hats, window clings, travel mugs all featuring the Waze logo.

    Anghami is a very well known music app, it's the spotify alternative that is heavily used in all Middle East countries, North Africa and Part of Europe.
    Unfortunately, it's not included in the list of Music Apps in Waze.

  20. Speed signs on WME

    a) I usually place comments (in the form of points) next to the track at the exact spot where there is a maximum speed sign, indicating the content of the sign (example: 80km/h). This helps me remember potential speed change points. It would be useful to have a layer that activates a visible icon on the WME map to display these signs, without needing to open the comment box.
