Marking roads as non-allowed transit routes
In Sweden quite a few roads are prohibited from use when it comes to transit routes, usually because they run through densely populated areas and school zones. Using these prohibited routes will get you a fine if caught.

Be able to view a summary list of delays and congestion
Have a menu option to be able to view at a glance the delays and congestion on your route. Whilst it's ok to see there are delays on the "Go" screen you can't easily tell where they are or how they will affect you.

Move popus at bottom of the screen, because on the top there is upcoming routes which cannot be seen under popup window on small screens.

Correct mileage designation.
Please change the designation 'oh point six miles' to the correct 'zero point six miles'. As a math teacher, this 'drives' me crazy.

iPod assess while navigating
waze is an excellent navigation app. I waze is a great navigation app. I even think its better than google maps and motion gpx. The only feature that it is missing is access to your iPod on the iPhone while navigating, like motion gpx has . Please add this feature on.

Please don't "double dare" me about whether I want to navigate or not.
A dialog pops when I get in the car - "Driving Home?". I click it, just navigate. Don't ask me to confirm it. Same with when I search for an address and select it. Just go.

Add avoid railroad crossings toggle
Waze already lets us avoid tolls, ferries, highways, and other obstacles when rerouting. It should also let us avoid railroad crossings. Sometimes a train is passing and traffic comes to a complete stop, but there’s no quick way to reroute around all crossings.

pedestrian crossings & unmarked intersections
Hi Waze,
I live in Romania and I have two suggestions for you. I will mention them below in order of importance, as I believe they could save many lives and help prevent accidents.
1 - In Romania, unfortunately, there are many pedestrian crossings on national and county roads where traffic is heavy. Many of them are not even properly marked or illuminated. Could you create an option that allows us to map pedestrian crossings on the road?
2 - There are also many dangerous, unmarked intersections in Romania, especially in rural areas and not only there. Could you also…

Letting the driver know which lane (right or left) is used to make U-turn
when need to make a U-turn, sometimes it could be on the left side of the road or even on the right.
it would be less chaotic and sudden change of lanes if the driver knows how/where the U-turn will take place, especially if there were were many lanes, then need to be prepared early to be on the U-turn lane.
it could be make the U-turn on the right lane, where there is a specific lane for U-turn.
