Being able to input your own route
We drive abnormal loads that are governed by police routes, we have to avoid certain roads/bridges due to the weight of our vehicle ,is it possible to be able to input the route as specified by the police ?

See route when planning a drive
When you plan a drive it lets you choose the time and location of point a and b, but does not show you the route it recommends on a map view; only when to leave.
Would be great to have a tentative route visualization based on the recommended leave by time.. so you know where it thinks you should drive.. I mean, it’s using data to give a recommendation so the info is there :)

Choosing a route on the basis of difficulty driving or gas saving
The default route should not only be the fastest route, there should be an option if you want an easier drive that also saves on gas but is 5-10 minutes longer. Waze should provide the opportunity to choose that route in the settings options

The leave later option is gone and this is terrible and why take away such a useful tool
Leave later option is gone and this is terrible. Why take away such a useful tool, it was great and now it's gone. Now you need to go through several menus and options and plan a drive when before you could do it in 2 clicks now it's like 7 and that just not progress.

User preferences for level of detail in turn instructions
I keep my audio set to "Alerts only" and am familiar with my metro area's turns and continuations and, when I preview my route's turns, I like for the list of instructions to be as concise as possible. I like that "View Only" instructions don't show up in that route preview.
But, for a turn instruction to be spoken, it must also be included in that list of instructions. This makes it more difficult for me to distinguish the key turns on my route; it may also be an unnecessary level of detail for other drivers who are already familiar…

Waze should seamlessly go between offline and online when cell data weakens or stops navigating. It should be perfectly synchronized.
We should be completely seamless, allowing off-line and online to function without the user seeing any difference. This would allow 100% perfect navigation any time anywhere without having to worry about missing a turn being sent on a hiatus and keep you always going in the right direction.. this feature is absolutely necessary on long trips and places where there’s no cell reception so that you always have the route running and never have to worry about a pause because off-line mode has been initiated and you just continue on your way without seeing any difference in your screen this…

Left or right, not "go straight"
When coming to a "Y" shape splitting route, please inform user to turn left or right, not go straight! I missed my turn, and almost had an accident. 3 times for today, Waze didn't tell me left or right! Seriously...
Using Waze means we are not familiar with the route, don't expect us to know it is a main road. What we see is only left or right routes. We have no idea "go straight" means left or right.

The audio, which supports the information on the screen, should ALWAYS communicate in miles, and NOT minutes, concerning the next turn.
Communicating in miles is always accurate. Communicating in minutes requires assumptions, e.g., driving speed and absence of stops. You should always eliminate assumptions when you have the option to do so.

Title: Target with multiple addresses.
I have parking with entrance from two different streets. I need waize to calculate which one is faster to arrive.

Show a compass - even a small one - for those of us who are geographically challenged. Google Maps has a good one.

Soy camionero!
Muy seguido utilizo la APP para ubicar mis cargues y descargues de mercancia, pero hay un problema, Colombia es un país lleno de calles con restricciones a la movilidad en camiones de carga y es urgente la necesidad de un WAZE CAMIONERO.
Igual que Waze nos indique si las vías son destacadas o pavimentadas.

Waze sin internet
La app Osmand es un GPS y funciona sin internet . Pero no tiene alertas de radares.
Sería interesante que Waze logrará funcionar sin internet, y que avise de radares los radares fijos que ya están en el mapa (actualizacion mediante con una "gota" de internet)
Evidentemente nos perderíamos de la información que alguien eleve en ese ínterin, ej radares móviles.
Realmente sería muy interesante para quienes manejan a diario y por mucho tiempo y así evitar gastar en internet

Tópico acessibilidades ♿️
A google maps já tem tópico de acessibilidades para pessoas com cadeira de rodas. Um bom exemplo que poderiam pensar. Faz foda a diferença saber se os locais têm acessibilidades tanto dentro dos edifícios como no estacionamento. obrigada
