Access Phone’s Calendar from Apple CarPlay
At the moment, you can access your iPhone’s calendar from the Waze app on the iPhone. This allows you to select the calendar item from Waze, and then Waze will automatically commence navigation to the address associated with the calendar entry.
Unfortunately this same feature isn’t available from Waze within Apple CarPlay.
This feature enhancement request is to request the same calendar access ability from Waze in the iPhone app is made available on the Waze Apple CarPlay app,
That way, you can get in your car, and from Apple CarPlay Waze, select the calendar entry appointment you are driving…

Make Map Chats readable on Android Auto and CarPlay
Map Chats often contain useful information on lane closures or other hazards, but while their icons show up on the car's nav screen when using CarPlay or Android Auto, they can't be tapped on or read.
It is far more hazardous for me to unplug my phone, open the Waze app, and read the Map Chat than it would be to simply glance at my dash nav and tap the chat - you could even have the phone's TTS read it out while displaying it, then give the option to give it a thumbs-up.

Danger zone entry and exit icons with Android Auto in France
Hello,
Would it be possible to improve the announcement of danger zones for France (because in our country, announcing the precise location of speed cameras is prohibited!)?
The ideal would be to have an icon when you enter and another icon when you leave a danger zone in addition to the voice announcement and the small frame at the top left.
If we could also have on the road, a color associated with danger zones as in the style of traffic announcements, to best indicate the duration of the zone.Other applications like Tomtom do so why not Waze!

Avoid car only roads
Sometimes a car is towing a trailer and they're not allowed on the same roads as only cars. It would be nice to be able to hit a button and not have to worry about driving down a road you're not allowed to be on.

improve Speeding Alerts
Could the speed indicator be improved in this way: Right now, the speeding icon stays white up to the speed limit, then as soon as 1 mph over, it goes red. I have my alert threshold set to 10% over the speed limit. I would prefer if the speeding icon does not go red until that 10% overage is exceeded. Otherwise the icon would be red most of the time, as most people drive a few mph over the speed limit. And having it red most of the time defeats the warning. It only needs to go red when speeding…

Recalculate button and earlier "heavy traffic reported head" warning
I use Waze regularly and quite often 2 things come to mind.
1. Why isn't there a "recalculate" botton available so that I can force Waze to recalculate my optimal road whenever I want to?
For example:
On my way to work every morning (35 km/22 miles away), there is a section of the highway where the road splits in two, and depending on traffic, sometimes going to the right is faster, while other times is faster on the left. Mark temporary the route as blocked, unavailable, reroute options
Add the option to mark the current route or road segment as unavailable or ability to calculate completely alternate route for the next couple of miles. I found myself multiple times on a suggested route that was closed due to roadwork, incident or event by the police for some reason. I tried to avoid it but waze kept on routing me back that blocking point… I usually have to drive random a lot of miles until the route changes enough so that I can be given an alternate route.
